U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez of New Jersey and his wife have been indicted in New York on federal bribery charges related to their allegedly “corrupt relationship” with three businessmen from their home state to protect those men and benefit the nation of Egypt.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan has scheduled a press conference for 11 a.m. ET Friday to discuss the indictment against the senator and Nadine Menendez, which also charges the three businessmen: Wael Hana, Jose Uribe and Fred Daibes.
The indictment says that the Democrat Menendez and his wife from at least 2018 through 2022 accepted “hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes in exchange for using Menendez’s power and influence as Senator” to benefit the men and Egypt.
“Those bribes included cash, gold, payments toward a home mortgage, compensation for a low-or-no-who job, a luxury vehicle, and other things of value,” according to the indictment issued by a grand jury in Manhattan federal court.

It’s a backhanded attack on Clarence Thomas and George Santos. Typical weaponization fake maneuver.
He was sacrificed to show that the DOJ isn’t completely corrupt.

The “what will happen” has already happened.
This was planned and carried out by the Democrat/communist party of New Jersey.
The idea was/is to get this comrade out and install a new comrade loyal to the far far far left wing of the rodent nest.
This is bad for the national rodents because it comes at the worst time for them.
It will also be fun to watch and see whom Crooked Bob rolls on. Maybe even Spartacus the thieving former Mayor of Newark.
He didn't kick upstairs the "Big Guy's" 10% cut.
Menendez should have known better.
There is truth in what you say. Menendez has voted against several of Obamas and Bidens legislation.
The present Governor Murphy cannot run for reelection and is looking to continue his political career, has a new hair cut.
Menendez will make a deal, step down and no jail time, Murphy will name his replacement and he will name himself.
More optics so the feds can say that they administer justice “fairly” regardless of party affiliation. This is a safe democrat seat so Menendez can afford to be the sacrificial lamb. Doing this a year before the election will allow the dems in NJ to groom a replacement for 2024 when the corruption news will have blown over.
Obama allowed the Muslim Brotherhood to overthrow President Mubarak but General Sisi and the army had the final word stopping the MB from staying in power.
As with all dems caught with their hands in the cooking jar, he’ll resign and that will be considered punishment enough, investigation closed.
