Fox News national refused to air a new ad from a political action committee that supports Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis that showed him in his military uniform and holding a rifle, forcing the swapping out of two images for a sanitized version, according to the PAC, Never Back Down.
Never Back Down produced a 30-second ad titled "Warzone," which included an image of DeSantis holding a rifle in uniform, the photo taken in Iraq. DeSantis was a lieutenant in the Navy and served alongside SEAL Team 1 in Iraq in 2007.
To meet Fox's requirements, the image was replaced with a bust shot of DeSantis in uniform minus the weapon.
There was also footage 3 seconds into the ad of cartel members with guns and accompanying audio of gunfire that had to be replaced with firearm-free footage.

You mean Mr. “Grow Arugula “ wasn’t a control freak?
GWB’s resume contained “military experience.”
Fox thinks it’s sufficient to say the word “requirements.”
That was Fox’s policy in 2018? Maybe Fox is under a “woke yoke” now.
Come on man! Never Back Down is the PAC supporting DeSantis.
Sarge I can’t get this camera to work.
It gets easier and easier for me to get annoyed with Fox News when they do things like this.
“””Dukakis was a liberal—but I knew him and he was a genuinely pleasant person who meant harm to no-one.”””
He was also an Army veteran.
“Although Dukakis had been accepted into Harvard Law School, he chose to enlist in the United States Army. After basic training at Fort Dix and advanced individual training at Camp Gordon, he was assigned as radio operator to the 8020th Administrative Unit in Munsan, South Korea. The unit was a support group to the United Nations delegation of the Military Armistice Commission. Dukakis served from 1955 to 1957. He then received his J.D. degree from Harvard Law School in 1960.”
I assume that Fox ran it at the time.

who's ever seen a JAG lawyer in full battle gear?
it was about as bad as dukakis wearing a helmet in a tank or al gore holding that M16 with the shot suppressor on the barrel
Which wasn't a deciding factor when I regrettably voted for him twice. The Democrats attacked his time in the Air National Guard anyway when CBS's Dan Rather, and his producer Mary Mapes conducted an interview with individuals who had produced faked documents. In fact it was Free Republic's Buckhead who had determined shortly after that those documents couldn't have been produced on the machine they claimed they were in 1974.

Gore getting to Vietnam should have been investigated.
From my memory, he went in on a 2 year enlistment which usually meant combat arms, yet he got a journalism MOS somehow, and then with less than 5 months left before discharge, he somehow got sent to Vietnam, which the Army just did not do for someone getting ready to get out and he always had a personal bodyguard while there.
The son of a powerful sitting Senator had a very unusual resume building enlistment of less than 22 months.
neverbackdown is basically the whole desantis campaign.
They have been illegally funding desanctimonious’ events, travel, and ad campaigns...
And desanctimonious looks like he was appropiating or implying he was in the seals or served under fire again.
He looked scary
The 2nd amendment is frighting for Fox Fake News
I voted for him 4 times. I wouldn’t vote for a dem as governor even if he was running against Bush.
“Never Back Down backs down? Who would have thunk it?
Don’t forget “and unafraid!”
I voted for all the lame candidates the GOPe threw at us over the years. When Trump showed up on the scene, I wasn’t impressed until he started to speak. I’ve voted for the man twice, and if I’m alive next year, I will vote for him a third time. If he isn’t on the ballot, I will write him in. I may not be around in 2028, but if I am, and the GOPe nominates someone I don’t believe will be good for the country, I will write Trump’s name in again, even if he’s dead. I promised myself after voting for Romney, that I would never hold my nose and vote for the lesser of two evils, because in the end, you still have evil.
In country....
Yuppers.
Indeed, and by tarnishing DeSantis they are depriving Trump of a natural successor. We need to think not only about 2024 but also 2028 and beyond.
