Is there an MLK St, Rd etc anywhere that isn’t crime ridden? I’ve never seen one and I’ve seen quite a few.

Their contribution to the race problem is being returned to them. Hold onto your hats Nike, the general rule is 10 fold.

I have ZERO sympathy for companies like Nike that have been cheerleading for BLM, Defund the Police and other Leftist pipedreams while failing to defend capitalism. Let them reap the whirlwind (and then some).

Even if all stores in the inner city were “free stores,” the street savages would still break in and strip them bare.

Would it be so bad to say why they actually closed the store? Too much theft. Why lie? I would put it on billboards all over town.

Portland is not very diverse, only 5.7% black.

What would Colin Kaepernick do, other than calling Nike “racist!!” for closing that store?

That's the thing about wealthy left-wingers: they'll push and pay for the loosening of criminal laws, inflicting harm on the poor who have no defense against criminals, and then the wealthy left-wingers will get up and leave, spewing some useless BS about how they will keep trying to "enrich the lives" of the people they've ruined.
Where are you going, Nike? Stay and enjoy what you've worked to create.

Chris Rock had a bit where he asked something to the effect of ‘MLK symbolizes peaceful protest, action without violence. So why do they name the worst street in every city MLK Boulevard? If a friend calls an tells you I need directions, I’m on MLK boulevard just say “RUN!!”

Nike makes it big selling shoes that are not worth (in terms of material and workmanship) the price to a community that largely can’t afford them. It encourages the spread of thug culture rather than lifting people up. And it’s also known for horrible sweatshop/factory conditions overseas. It’s a terrible company.

Just wait until we get “Barack Obama Boulevards” in all of our cities.
