R&B singer Akon may have been born in the United States, but he wants to go back to his roots — which, to him, means constructing a city in his family’s ancestral home of Senegal, which he describes as a “real-life Wakanda.”
Ordinarily, I’d just think this was some idle talk by someone not in compos mentis. After all, one of Akon’s best-known songs was a collaboration with enthusiastic marijuana endorser Snoop Dogg (“I Wanna Love You”), so maybe Akon’s been hitting the wacky tobaccky a bit too often.
However, nothing short of megadoses of LSD could possibly have produced the delusions described by the singer in his promotional push on “Akon City,” in which he promised “every single African American would be a millionaire without even thinking twice” if they relocated to Africa and that America would be paralyzed “overnight” if its estimated 41.6 million black population up and left.
According to a report in AfroTech on Friday, the proposed city in the troubled West African nation of Senegal — which Akon says can be built for the low, low investment price of $6 billion — is intended “to be a safe space for Black Americans and others facing racial injustices.”

They must not realize African blacks are usually contemptuous of American blacks.They would find themselves more ostracized than what they think they are here.
He’s in for a rude awakening, indeed.
He’ll find that he has two immediate choices upon arriving:
(1) Cozy up to a powerful, corrupt warlord, who can “protect” him (for a price)
AND/OR:
(2) Quickly be stripped of all his assets (and all that that entails) by a powerful, corrupt warlord.
Certain parts of the world, there isn’t even the VENEER of “politeness” and “civility” over the basic truth that Might Makes Right.
I’ll bet the boy already bought a Wakanda Halloween costume.

No we would need a supreme Court ruling that they can not change their minds.
Senegal could go from the forgotten little nation that it is,
to the leading nation in drive by black on black killings
on into the future.
It would be interesting to see the top crimes halve over
just a few years.
The Democrat party would have to find another excuse for
everything, other than White on Black hate.
I’m sure there would be a law against it, if the Blacks
dared to try to put this plan into operation.

My first thought was Liberia too. Every time I hear about a black movement to return to Africa. They wouldn’t survive any better than my chubby white ass would.
