Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Sunday touted President Biden’s accomplishments and stressed his confidence in the president’s ability to win reelection, as long as he runs on a strong progressive platform.
In an interview on CBS News’s “Face the Nation,” Sanders stressed what he saw as the importance of running on a “strong” and “progressive agenda” and said if Democrats do so, it could guarantee that wing of the party will back Biden.
Sanders touted raising Social Security benefits, expanding Medicare and dealing with student debt as areas of priorities for his wing of the party.
“If we come up with a progressive agenda, I think we’re going to win and win big and when we win big, we have to make it clear that we stand with the working class of this country against the kind of corporate greed that we now see,” Sanders said.
On whether Sanders would consider a 2024 presidential run, if, for any reason, Biden decided not to seek or win the nomination, Sanders declined to answer the question directly.
“Well, I think we spend too much time speculating,” he said in response. “I think President Biden is going to be the nominee of the Democratic Party. And I think if he runs on a strong, progressive agenda, he’s not only going to win, he’s going to win by a strong vote, and I’ll tell you why.”

If Bernie can speak coherently he would be a better candidate than Biden bad on policy but at least mentally capable.
He knows Biden does nothing and lets the extreme Left do whatever they want.
There isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between a Biden Presidency and a Bernie Presidency, I said that even before the election. But nobody listened.

That’s more accurate.
Bernie runs as an independent because he knows wearing a Soviet Hammer & Sickle lapel pin and waving the soviet flag wouldn’t endear him with too many people in America except the purple hair lefties and the CPUSA clowns.
They still put an “I” next to Bernie? Yeah, right. Some independent.
Only if the rats, rinos, and deep state manage to cheat even more than they did last time.
Sanders is such a fraud.
One of his “Bernie Bros” in the DNC discovered what the Clinton-cabal was doing to sabotage Bernie in 2016 and decided the best revenge was to leak (to Wikileaks) some of Clinton’s worst secrets.
He took a couple bullets in the back for it.
And regardless, Sanders stepped-up like the paid clown he is to campaign for Clinton.
Sanders is the classic example of a parasite.
Bernie is simply defending another Octogenarian.
Whatever happened to term limits?
IMHO presumptive 2024 nominee PDJT has best chance against Biden than other younger candidates.

Sanders talks like he already started filling out “mail in” ballots. How else would he know.
The majority of Vermonters who show up at the polls are idiots. Dumber than the NY Grifter they vote for. The remainder apparently don't care who the state sends to the Senate in DC.
