Trump vows to crush federal censorship with new appointees, executive order if elected in 2024

Former president takes on "federal machinery" of censorship of political speech. He also urges Congress to probe evidence of ballot application fraud scheme uncovered by Michigan law enforcement.

Former President Donald Trump is vowing to dismantle the federal machinery built by the Biden administration to censor political speech in America, saying he will appoint new leaders of agencies that have engaged in silencing free speech. He also said he would sign an Executive Order banning government employees from participating in projects that infringe the First Amendment.

The 45th president made the comments Thursday during an interview on the "Just the News, No Noise" television show when asked about the Biden administration’s well-documented and now-failed efforts to create a government disinformation office. He also highlighted President Biden's letting federal agencies like Homeland Security and the FBI work with, if not coerce, private parties to pressure Big Tech to censor Americans.

Federal Judge Terry Doughty of the District Court for the Western District of Louisiana ruled on July 4th in Missouri v. Biden that such activities targeting Americans violated the Constitution, and he imposed an injunction banning government agencies from having contact with Big Tech firms designed to restrain political speech.

The administration appealed the injunction to the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, where Judge Jennifer Walker Elrod said that the Biden administration's efforts to persuade social media companies to remove, throttle and suppress purported misinformation on COVID-19, Hunter Biden's laptop and elections "reminded her of a mafia movie."

“The best thing is, you put the right people at the head of those agencies,” Trump told Just the News when asked how to address the censorship problem. “…I know we have some great people in our country. So I think that's very important. Yes, I would do executive orders also."

Trump’s first order should be revoking Bidet’s executive privileges, and vitiating his attorney-client privilege. Turnabout being fair play, it will expedite indicting his attorneys, staff, and business associates. It should only take a minute to sign that ready-to-go document.

His first executive order should be disarming the FBI - they shall not hold, train with, store any firearms, nor use any in their investigations or work.

If they need to stage a raid that may be dangerous, they can coordinate with local sheriffs.

I like that idea. There has never been constitutional support for an armed “National Police Force” of any sort. Yet every damned federal agency now has its own heavily armed police force, anyhow.

Too little, to late.

Trump had the chance to destroy his enemies while President but lacked the courage to do so

How ironic for a cowardly keyboard sniper to accuse someone else of a lack of courage.

Nice...
I kinda agree, however, everything he tries to do is going to be tied up in the courts for decades to come.
How about giving them something to sink their teeth into?

Executive order #1: All previous executive orders issued by any president are hereby recinded in their entirety.

Watch em cry over that one.

Trump is the ONLT help we have to retain liberty.

If he’s not elected it’s going to get a lot worse much faster then the last 3 years.

Stop the TDS.

You've heard of the First Amendment right? Congressional statutes have absolutely nothing to do with, "banning government employees from participating in projects that infringe the First Amendment".

An executive order simply is an internal order from the chief executive, in this case to stop the infringement of the First Amendment by executive branch employees.

The First amendment is already in place.

As I said, Congress has nothing to do with it.

The guy facing 90 indictments and hundreds of years in jail lacks "courage"??

That's your assessment?

Nope, the correct assessment is that it takes more than one term to build the political support to beat the Deep State.

Agreed. He’s stated that the first time around he didn’t realize just how bad things were.

Out here in public social media land, things look very different than the in person view of the inside.

I’m glad he’s finally seeing the reality.

He’s just sealed his doom. The CIA types don’t take threats lightly. They got Kennedy, and they’ll get him, too.

Agree. Trump had his ONE AND ONLY ONE chance to take down the Deep State. He quailed before Fauci and Scarf Lady.
