Michigan energy department consultant Andy Leavitt in September 2021 emailed a top adviser to Whitmer to express "some major red flags" with the administration's response to a lead water crisis in southwestern Michigan So why is a consultant to the energy dept working to protect the governor about a water problem?
Looks like he is acting like an image consultant, not any type of energy expert.
And would an image consultant be allowed to be paid out of state funds, when acting as a personal political coach to the governor?
