Chris Christie calls out Vivek Ramaswamy for GOP primary debate performance: Uses ‘ChatGPT phrases’
Fox News ^ | August 25, 2023 | Ashley Carnahan

Christie says Ramaswamy showed he was an 'amateur' at first GOP primary debate.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie tore into GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy ..., arguing the entrepreneur’s answers showed he has "absolutely no idea what he’s talking about."

...

Trump praised Ramaswamy’s debate performance on his social media site Truth Social. Ramaswamy also praised Trump on stage as the "best president of the 21st century."

"Well, I'm stunned that as I was talking about Donald Trump and all the ways that he's let down our party and our country, that he [Trump] didn't mention me as a winner of the debate last night," Christie said Thursday ..." "But, you know, if Vivek thinks that Donald Trump is the greatest president of the 21st century, what the hell is he doing running? He should drop out tomorrow."

...

I think what he showed last night is that this is a guy, like I said, who [uses] a group of ChatGPT phrases strung together to try to get the rise out of a crowd, but has absolutely no idea what he's talking about," Christie added.

"This is a guy who says, 'Let's get rid of Taiwan to the Chinese by 2028. Let's treat Israel like every other country in the Middle East.' And by the way, ... in his own book, he said that what Donald Trump did on January 6 was reprehensible, plain and simple. Direct quote from the book. And when I confronted him with that last night, he said, I never said that. No, you didn't. You wrote it. Or the ghostwriter who wrote your book wrote it. But either way, your name was on it. So I don't think I'm ever going to have to confront that question."

Lots of reasons to not like Chris Christie, but he still has his pulse on some important matters and I like his go for the jugular prosecutor approach when he gets going. On Ramaswamy, he's 100% right. As a Trump fan boy, why is he running for president?

Christie is so stupid, intelligence looks artificial to him.

Here is a question: if Trump gets dragged down by all these legal matters and it’s Bidet vs Christy, who will Freepers support?

My guess, is they’ll write-in Trump.

I lived in NJ during Krispy’s reign. The state didn’t get better, and his arrogant attitude was off-putting. He’s like an angry Mitt Romney.

He’s being branded as a “Tell it like it is” politician. Well, this petty tyrant clogged up the GWB intentionally one day, likely causing the deaths of people who were in ambulances trapped in traffic.

I’ll tell it like it is. Soprano-wannabe can suck eggs.

This was stage attire for NJ resident Bobby Steele, ex-Misfit and leader of the punk band The Undead. Totally approve.

Because Trump is getting old, and no one else in the field resonates with Americans in the way Trump does. Ramaswamy sees this void, this need for new blood and is out there to get name recognition. He is not trying to win, but he may trying to get a position in Trump’s administration, maybe even VP.

I don’t care two craps about what that Obama hugging, DOJ toadying, Uniparty warmonger has to say about anything. Screw that swamp tool. In the future, post what YOU think about an issue rather than this pig’s view. I’m sure your opinion is more appreciated than his by everyone around here.

It is my understanding that Chris Christie thinks Trump should be locked up and shown no mercy.

In my book, those two strikes put him out of the running.

It is my understanding that Ramaswamy would continue about $4 billion/year of pledged aid to Israeli until 2028. He would then end foreign aid to the country because Israel is an affluent country.

Chrispy and Ron were sure up each other’s bidness and buddy buddy during those debate breaks.

RDS always uses others to do his dirty work. He must have chosen this pig to do the mud slinging that night. Several times when the debaters were asked to raise their hands, Meatball appeared to look to Chrispy for when to raise his hand.LOL

He left office with the lowest approval rating of any governor in history.

What is being done to Trump is wrong and it is Stalinesque.

If Chris Christie can’t see that and publicly recognize that, then he’ll not get my support.

You don't have to guess. We have told you flat out that that is our intent. There is no falling back to the run of the mill republican hacks. Post Trump, I will hold out for Pinochet.

Heh, when I first read your post I thought "he clogged up George Bush?" - then I realized you meant the George Washington Bridge. :-)
