Dick’s Sporting Goods reported a profit drop and cut its earnings outlook for the year after seeing an uptick in retail theft and slow sales in its outdoor category. It’s the first reference the athletic goods retailer has made to shrink in a press release in nearly 20 years. In a rare miss, Dick’s also fell short of Wall Street’s estimates on both the top and bottom lines.

Not only did they stop selling firearms they made a big show out of defecating on the Second Amendment. Bankruptcy is too good for them.
Dicks is crap. Closed the local Field and Stream store and put in rock climbing wall and batting cages. I have no use for them any more.

Dick's never stopped selling firearms. They decided to virtue-whine against "evil AR-15s" a few years back because they couldn't compete in the market. Instead of manning up and admitting they couldn't compete, the filthy hypocrites decided to vilify them and their owners.

When they dropped the guns, I dropped them.
I shop at Cabelas ... ‘cause they aren’t Dicks.

Fantastic. They expanded out here in Washington State with several big new stores. I was looking forward to their presence in this state. Then before they opened their doors they decided to become anti 2A.
Consequently, I have never stepped foot into any of the stores nor will I ever. Glad to hear their socialist justice policies are causing their demise. Goodbye to bad rubbish.

Yep. Dick’s always was kinda pricey. I’d shop there now and again anyway.
But I haven’t set foot in a Dick’s since they went woke about guns.
However, it is nice to see that shoplifters don’t hold a grudge, and will continue to visit the place.
I hope they go bankrupt.
One of their sister (daughter?) stores is called “Going, Going, Gone.”
How much have their revenues plummeted since they refused to sell firearms???
Ironic that the last item I bought at Dick’s was a self defense shotgun before they declared war on the 2A. Haven’t darkened their door since and it has been years.
Dick’s went woke.
Now they are going broke.
