Just reading that quote made me drowsy.
The Swamp is a pervasive entity. It is populated by many people from all levels of government. It is also populated by a few outside government.
Namely, campaign advisors.
Think for a moment about these people. What does such a career look like? How do they make money?
Answer: They get paid from campaign finance. It largely will not matter to them how their candidate is doing. It matters to them how much fundraising their candidate is able to do. And it damn sure matters to them that their candidate not drop out of a race. All their years of influencing and the skills accumulated to do that are brought to bear on any candidate who is losing. DO NOT DROP OUT. This may happen. That may happen. We have enough money to continue (which means to pay me).
When you hear reports of a candidate who just does not want to drop out because they have this commitment or that commitment — it’s none of that. They do not drop out because their staff is in their ear every morning telling them what they want to hear — so that the staff’s paychecks continue.
This is the Swamp, people. This is how all the GOPe hate you know who.
Who writes this guy’s lines? He says and does whatever they want him to so long as their money keeps coming.
Just imagine what they will order him to say or do if he ever got elected

Someone out there polling has found that he is rejected because he is Swamp. They dare not use that word. Instead they choose Establishment. He’s against the Republican Establishment. The GOPe. The same GOPe that is funding him and inviting him to that Georgia island conference to map strategy against Trump.
Yes, he fights the GOP Establishment his whole career, except for that meeting in Georgia with that establishment. He declared a truce for that gathering.
