Andrew Ebright loves his job. It's the best thing he's ever done.
For the past 18 months, he's been working as a stay-at-home dad, taking care of his son. It was a surprising pivot: When he met his now-wife 10 years ago, it was a path he told her he was completely uninterested in.
"I just thought that that would be boring and a bad use of my skill set, and it would force me to do a lot of things that I'm not great at," Ebright, who previously worked as a lawyer, told Insider.

I somehow missed LA & MS.
I was Mr. Mom during a couple periods of unemployment. It was easy. The secret is to wake up at dawn and get all the housework done first thing. Then the day is yours.
a mothers role is to carry her babies in her body safely, birth them, nurse them with female breasts, and nurture them with mother's love....fathers protect and support this nucleus...
men must start acting like men....
And she will be unfaithful when that happens.
Women want their men to be greater than they are, or at least trying to be.
These men, who would stay home, just want to be boys.
The biggest driver behind this, up until a few weeks ago when SCOTUS outlawed affirmative action, was that straight white males were the only people it was legal to discriminate against, and discrimination against them was required by law.
It will take decades to stomp out the last vestiges of affirmative action, but we have to start somewhere.
Useless men do useless things. Real men provide for their families.
Meet the hard-working Moms who will soon tire of the stay-at-home Dads. Especially if they catch them day-drinking on the couch while watching Netflix.
While there are some elite stay at home dads out there, most are just in that role because they are loser potheads leaching off a woman who only got pregnant with their child because they got them stoned enough.
Worked great for my family.
The wife still loves her job and is great at being the mother she never thought she could.
My daughter is now 20 and getting straight A’s in a university.
My wife is 15 years younger than me, so when I started getting social security, I also got an extra $1,000 for my daughter until she turned 18.
We invested in real estate and did well.
I did all the work.
That picture is wrong on so many levels.
