Cops are searching for a vandal who scrawled anti-Semitic graffiti on a scrolling message board outside an Upper East Side synagogue.
The suspect, who has not been identified, walked up to the Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun Synagogue at 125 East 85th Street at about 7 p.m. Saturday, took out a marker and graffitied a display screen attached to the house of worship, the NYPD said.
Police described him as a man with a slim build and short black hair who is around 25 years-old.
He wore a white tank top, camo shorts and white sneakers, and ran off on East 85th Street after the hateful act.
By Sunday morning, the writing had been wiped off.
The sign suffered no damage.
“It was pretty easy to wipe off – they got it clean in a few minutes,” a neighbor named Scott told The Post.
“There’s three cameras right there!’ Scott, 51, continued. “Guy was probably wacked out on drugs. We get a lot of that here.”

1) The “journalist” describes the color of the perp’s shirt, pants, and sneakers but fails to mention the thug’s immutable skin color;
2) The quote, “ “Guy was probably wacked out on drugs.” underscores the fact that many believe blacks are incapable of free will and/or not responsible for their actions
Looks like a black “white supremacist” to me.
Takeaway #3: “Hate crime” is barely mentioned in the article. Not until you get to the end you read “The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating, cops said.”
If you look cross-eyed at a black person, you are guilty of a “hate crime.” But it doesn’t work in reverse.
A Sefardic Orthodox synagogue. Would have been a lot of people around there at 7 pm Saturday. Taking a chance that there wouldn’t be some young Israelis nearby is pretty dumb.

The real crime in all of this is that the author referred to the perpetrator as a man; thus assuming his gender.
Immutable? It is the skin color he was assigned at birth!
The police are searching for somebody who did something, sometime, somewhere. Be on the look-out!
It’s getting harder and harder for the MSM to keep putting out the narrative that it’s only white people and the political right committing acts of racism with any real semblance of believability.
No real semblance of believability has ever stopped the MSM before. Just look at the 2020 election results reported that evening.

Those pics are super clear....the government can run down an old lady from podunck iowa that was at the capitol on j6 but nyc can’t track down one black antisemite?..if they can’t find that thug from those pics (and probably video) it’s because they don’t want to.
He looks Moroccan or other more northern African.
Probably why he targeted a Sephardic synagogue. He’s upset at the productive class that bailed and so his native land turned into a complete dump without people to tax and do actual work.
I don’t support these “hate crime” enhancements. It’s just one small step away from charging people with a “thought crime”. This was a minor case of vandalism not even worth reporting in the news but they will probably make a big deal about it because of it being a hate crime.
