The co-owner of local newspaper the Marion County Record has died after being 'traumatized' by a police home raid that was green-lighted to seize information on a story that hadn't even been published.
Joan Meyer, 98, collapsed and died following the intense stress and grief she felt when her home was raided by the entirety of the Marion Police Department in Kansas.

Marion, Kansas. Population of 1922 people. The police state has come to small towns in Conservative states.
The cops probably knew the woman. This was cold-blooded murder.

I dont want to die keeping the jackboots out of my house but the local Yokels better not get stupid on my doorstep.
How many search warrants are issued to raid anything or anyone associated with a newspaper?
We need officers body cam footage of this.

The only thing missing from this story is the family dog. Did the cops shoot it?
I hop the ‘authorities’ get sued individually and it costs them everything.

I will never forget when I was picked on a jury during a case against a frail late 70’s man for assaulting arresting police. The 3 cops were in court. They each weighed 200+ lbs. They went to his house and found a small tin of marijuana on his living room table. I voted guilty for possession of controlled substance, NOT guilty of assaulting the cops. He probably tried to hold on to his stash of precious hallucinating weed.
Jury had a dozen vote, with me the only one holding off on the assault charge. I am regret to say after it was 10 PM, I gave in, so we could all go home. If it was today, I would have stayed as long as necessary for a hung jury verdict.

Four words: horrible, frightening, disgraceful and more than likely illegal.

Local police sold themselves as cheap whores to get a few bucks from Uncle Sam. Obama’s federal police force “as powerful as the military” is reality.

I’ll reserve judgment on this until I see the affidavit for the search warrant.

Find out who the approving judge on the search warrant is.
Make sure that they are not re-elected.

Like it or not, we cannot blame this outrage on the Democrats or the Federal authorities. Marion County, Kansas voted for Trump by almost 3 to 1 in 2020. The Republican presidential candidate has carried the county in every election since 1940, even Goldwater in 1964, who carried the county by 10 points in percentage. All the officials are Republican and have been so for probably 80 years at least. What this incident shows is that the corruption is bipartisan in character and that the police state mentality has penetrated both the communistic Democrats and their Republican so-called opposition.
