Mitch McConnell: Biden Impeachment is ‘Not Good for the Country’

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has gently nudged his Republican counterparts in the House of Representatives to pump the brakes on chatter of impeaching President Biden.

“I said two years ago, when we had not one but two impeachments, that once we go down this path it incentivizes the other side to do the same thing,” McConnell told the New York Times in an interview published Tuesday.

"Impeachment ought to be rare,” he added. “This is not good for the country.”

Will McConnell run again? It seems like these folks don’t know when to say no. Their corruption and greed keeps them there or is their puppet masters keep them there so all can continue to rob the American taxpayer?

Does anyone know the process in Kentucky if McConnel doesn’t make it through his term? Is there an election or does Beshear pick an interim to fill the seat until the term ends?

I think its interim; then the regular general election in 2026. KY people have insight lost on most of us.
