Democrats’ deceptive talking point that universal mail-in voting is completely “safe” and “secure” is collapsing as postal theft becomes rampant throughout the country.
Within the last week alone, CBS News Chicago released several articles detailing a series of incidents involving mail theft and crime throughout the Windy City. On July 31, for instance, the outlet reported blue drop-off mailboxes in Frankfort and Orland Park “were cut open by thieves,” with local law enforcement advising residents to “monitor their financial accounts or credit profiles for fraudulent activity.”
On the same day, CBS News Chicago revealed it obtained data from the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) purportedly showing that the agency “hadn’t been keeping track of arrow key thefts until 2021” and “hadn’t made a single arrest for an arrow-key-related theft between 2020 and March 2023.” For context, arrow keys are used to open blue drop-off boxes and larger mailboxes found in apartment complexes or condos. An official with the U.S. Postal Inspectors, USPS’s law enforcement arm, claimed he felt such information “might not be 100 percent correct.”

The biggest problem is the mailing out of ballots that are not requested by a voter during the current election year.
Signature match should be done by FEC tested, approved and registered means. Matches not approved should be subject to bipartisan and judicial scrutiny.
Date of birth verification is easy to do.

Carriers should carry invalidating punches they should be required to promptly use on undeliverable ballot mailings they collect.
My former post office had a known problem where checks mailed at the inside drop box were being stolen, washed, forged, and fraudulently cashed. Clearly inside jobs.
Yet mailed ballots are secure?

They are just another branch of the democrat party. I suspect that mail-in votes from areas known to be heavily Republican voters often are the ones to be found dumped on the side of roadways or are otherwise misplaced in order to never arrive at their destination.

Do NOT use exterior mail drop boxes. They are routinely being ripped off. Without getting into details, we had mail stolen from one, and what we heard from many postal employees while the theft was investigated would dissuade anyone from ever having faith in the mail. Again, if you must mail something, walk into the post office to drop it off.
My mail in ballot got stolen. I had to request a new one.

if the pubbies were capable of winning the popular vote in any given presidential election, everyone on this forum would be all in for mail in voting, just like the dems are...
but since the pubbies can’t do so, their only tactical response can be to retard turnout, just as the dems tactical approach is to increase it...
as with just about any situation in life, whether it is good or bad just ask ‘cui bono?’ Who benefits? and going a step further, it behooves the pubbies to make some tough decisions, as mail in otin is here to stay...
The targeting of mail carriers has become a major problem over the last few years. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that the government did NOTHING when rioters burned down two post offices in Minneapolis in 2020, along with numerous mail trucks. Has ANY of those criminals been arrested, not as far as I know. You can bet that NO ONE will ever be charged with a federal offense even if they are caught.

During the Newsome recall, my wife and I voted in person. We took our mail-in ballots to the polling place, where they were scanned, and the woman who took mine, wrote void across the ballot. They scanned my wife’s, and it came back invalid, they messed with it for several minutes before they finally gave her a ballot and had her sign the roll, I was done voting before she even approached a voting booth. The poll worker told my wife that had she voted by mail. Her vote would not have counted.
Never attribute anything high-minded to the Party of Hate and Evil.
That way, a postal employee can steal your mail, instead of some amateur.
