Democrats are drastically overperforming in 2023's special elections.
They've had some time to perfect the ballot-harvesting games they play, so you have to expect improved performance. Republicans need to at least start playing the same game if they're going to have any hope. Unfortunately, the RNC is led by Mitt Romney's clueless niece.

Trump supported her. She’s the one he wanted.

The Democrats won't even have to ballot harvesting in 2024 and they can use the abortion issue to turn out their base and convince some independents, especially women who were on the fence due to the economy to vote for Biden and the Democrats.

They also have supporters willfully shelling over mountains of cash and doing the grunt work to get them elected, while the GOP / MAGA base sits on their hands and keeps their wallets closed as they did in 2018, 2020, 2022, and now again in 2023. Can’t win the war if you don’t show up for the battles. Showing up to parties, make shift parades, and rallies does not gain a single vote. It is more fun, but in the end is essentially just naval gazing among ourselves. You can’t let the other side vastly outspend and outwork us and then claim only fraud has an impact.
