CNN Warns ‘Very Real Possibility’ Trump Could Win It All in 2024
Breitbart ^ | 07/31/2023 | HANNAH BLEAU

Posted on 07/31/2023 9:36:54 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

There is a “very real possibility” former President Donald Trump could win it all and return to the White House, CNN warned in a Sunday piece, observing the former president is in a “better position to win the general election” now than he was in 2020.

A CNN piece authored by Harry Enten warns the possibility of Trump winning the general election and returning to the White House is “very real,” despite the narrative of critics who surmise that the radical left wants Trump to be the nominee– a narrative wholly rejected by many conservatives, particularly in light of the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) relentlessly targeting the former president and GOP frontrunner.

“This is harassment. This is election interference,” Trump told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview when asked about the superseding indictment and additional charges. … Where’s Biden with all the documents? He’s got 20 times, 30 times the documents I have, and he has not made it easy for them either. He has been hiding boxes. … You explain that one. You don’t even hear about it. All you hear about is Trum

I wouldn’t call it surreal. It’s actually pretty clever.

With one statement they can pump up the Trump tribe and also influence a few Republican doubters to possibly support Trump to get him the nomination. At the same time it energizes any leftards that may be becoming complacent. They want Trump to get the nomination, it generates viewership and they feel confident he can’t win.

I supported Trump in 2016 and 2020. I would appreciate any Trump loyalist pointing out his 2024 path to victory in PA, MI, WI, AZ, NV or GA. Nothing has changed in those locations (except NV now having a GOP governor). Trey Gowdy recently observed that he sees no scenario in which any of those states flip back to Trump.

Trump will spend much of the upcoming election season in court. As reported last night, he has spent $40M in legal fees in 2023 thus far, in addition to spending $25M in despicable attack ads (from the left) against Desantis.

It’s time to express thanks to Trump for his past achievements, but move on to a fresh approach.

I don’t want Trump to be President for democrat voters. They don’t deserve him. I hope that we can split the country at some point. This has been my dream for a long time. Now it couldn’t be more necessary than ever as they try to usher in totalitarianism.

If Trump does win in 2024, he will take out a terrible wrath on the swamp creatures in the Executive Branch. The Potomac will run pink from all the firings. I look for many executive branch agencies to be moved from DC and its environs to places in flyover country.

They thought that Trump could win it all in 2020.

That's why they had to cheat to make sure that it wouldn't happen.

however it’s kinda surreal to hear them admit it

They want to motivate their base via fear, not exude confidence.

This is their call to spin up the voter fraud machine and stand by for action.

Ron DeSantis will never be President, and even a cursory scan of the first page of your posting history shows that now, even you know that. Schadenfreude.

VP Youngkin flips VA. Bringing VA into Trump's electoral fold almost completely shuts off the Democrats in 2024.

Under a VA-goes-red scenario, the Democrats could have a best-case scenario in 2024, keep WI/MI/PA, and still LOSE: 275-263.

It's unreal what flipping VA does to limit the Democrats chances -- go to 270towin.com and take the 2020 map (where Obama's Army simply needed to fraudulently generate 313,253 votes spread over 6 states, an EASY task, and one that could be just as EASY to reverse). Flip VA/GA/AZ. Trump/Youngkin 275-263 over HeelsUp/SecyF@g.

You flip VA with Youngkin and the Democrats are forced to spend every nickel to defend the Blue Wall, it would paint them right into their 2016 box.

This article is not a joke, CNN is skeered.

Since Trump, if nominated, will be losing the presidency for the second and final time next year (with a consolation prize of spending his final years in prison), his odds of winning another presidential election are a lot closer to never than DeSantis, who is only 45. Also, he doesn't implicate himself in crimes and stupidly expect forbearance like a Democrat, surround himself with morons like Omarosa, Scaramucci, Cohen, Bolton and Fauci and isn't the real life version of Nelson Muntz, so I'd say his odds are materially better.

“VP Youngkin flips VA. Bringing VA into Trump’s electoral fold almost completely shuts off the Democrats in 2024”.

Interesting theory. I like Glenn Youngkin a lot. If you recall, Youngkin pulled off the upset in 2021 by appealing to disgruntled parents over McAuliffe’s stupid and arrogant comments about not allowing parents to have a say in school curriculum. Throughout that campaign, Youngkin deftly kept Trump at bay and reached out to independents, moderates and disgruntled Democrats. Of course, Trump took credit for the victory.

Trump’s appeal is limited to his most fervent followers and nothing more (at most 43 - 45% of the electorate). There are millions of GOP suburban women who will never vote for Trump. Youngkin’s coattails are not huge. He wasn’t able to carry a very qualified challenger to victory over Democrat Rep. Abigail Spanberger in 2022.

On the other hand, DeSantis would bring all of the swing states into play (with the possible exception of Whitmer’s corrupt Michigan voting apparatus). He would also bring other states into play, such as VA, NH and even CO.

"On the other hand, DeSantis would bring all of the swing states into play (with the possible exception of Whitmer’s corrupt Michigan voting apparatus). He would also bring other states into play, such as VA, NH and even CO."

DeSantis had to be picked up and slung across the finish line in his governor's election by nothing less than a ballsy get-out-the-vote effort from ... Trump. DeSantis still nearly lost to a down-low meth-head, and notably lost all the metros.

DeSantis would face an identical first-time scenario on the national stage, in fact the polls suggest worst; and what DeSantis backers had hoped for -- that Trump would bow out and fling DeSantis over the finish line this year -- instead Trump has flung DeSantis into the Gulf.

Well...no.

But let's have some good, clean, curb-stomping fun...

"Ron DeSantis Will Never Be President In 2024"

If Trump is [ epithet'd ] over by the Club for China Growth RINOs who are in league with the Deep State, Trump can go 3rd party.

Ron cannot, because he will want to try again in 2028.

Any party that has made the general election ballot can still swap out the candidate.

You only have to meet the mail-in ballot headlines, and there are no 'sore loser' laws preventing party-swapping in Federal elections.

Given mail-in ballots in a Presidential election year won't be printed anywhere in any state until the last major-party convention affirms their President and VP candidates, Trump could either quietly trojan horse a "MAGA Party" 3rd-party all along under another name, and swap out before, let's say, Easter 2024, when the GOP primary winner will have been decided [Trump, but indulge Ron's conundrum for a brief further moment, for the sake of "legitimate no-bad-names discussion" lol]; or, Trump could simply take over the Libertarian or Alliance or Constitution nomination, having quietly ensured that they had full 50-state ballot representation beforehand.

Trump could then change the name of the American Party or Alliance Party or Constitution Party to the "MAGA Party", as long as he made it before the mail-in ballot printing deadline.

That's it, that is End Game 2024. President Trump either wins the GOP primary and the nomination, or goes 3rd party. And Trump can actually win either scenario. DeSantis can win neither.

Either way, Ron DeSantis campaign goes back in the fridge until 2028.

Do me a favor. Stop posting your political opinions here as fact. For all you know, DeSantis could do much worse than Trump. It’s OK to support Desantis, but posts that claim to know that Trump is going to lose would be more welcome on joebiden.com than on FR.

President Trump has you Ron supporters by the short hairs.

In a thread titled CNN Warns ‘Very Real Possibility’ Trump Could Win It All in 2024, do you doubt for a minute that the Deep State would not hesitate to put Trump back in office if they could get what they wanted from Youngkin, versus running around cleaning up poopy pants for another patently-obvious less than 4 years, so that our military could then fail to keep HeelsUp out of a 2-front war?

Youngkin looks like a President, he projects power, where Ron does not. It is what it is, genetics are what they are -- and never more proven than Ron supporters sui generis.

More to the point -- in 2028, DeSantis will have to run against VP Youngkin or far more likely President Youngkin, and there is no way any GOP donor would spend a stolen nickel on a rogue primary run by Ron, when incumbent Youngkin is already President.

So, again, Ron. DeSantis. Will. Never. Be. President. Of. The. United. States.

This is not factual. Trump was firmly tied into Youngkin's campaign. Trump's role was to bait Fast Terry from Day One, into the dead-end of making Trump the focus of his campaign.

Terry's people took the bait, even though their own internal polling didn't show tying Trump to Youngkin was a slam-dunk. This was political rope-a-dope at its finest, and it's a blueprint for what can be done in 2024 with VP Youngkin on the Trump ticket.

Trump says he and Glenn Youngkin are not 'at odds' despite what 'the perverts' say

"Former President Donald Trump weighed in on Virginia's gubernatorial election one day out by responding to "the perverts" who say he and Republican candidate Glenn Youngkin don't "like each other."

Trump in a statement on Monday said he and Republican gubernatorial candidate Youngkin "get along very well together and strongly believe in many of the same policies," and he blamed the media and "some of the perverts" for trying to "create an impression that" they "are at odds and don't like each other." Trump also claimed "perverts" are trying to "convince people that we do not like each other" so that his base won't vote in the election.

Youngkin has said, though, that he's "honored" to have received the former president's endorsement. During a recent rally in support of Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe, President Biden described Youngkin as an "acolyte of Donald Trump."
