A popular narrative suggests young people are liberal and getting more liberal. Thus, social media buzzed when a chart surfaced in spring that seemed to suggest 12th-grade boys had become overwhelmingly conservative.
As with many Reddit posts and viral tweets, the truth was more complicated. But the numbers do say this: Twelfth-grade boys are nearly twice as likely to identify as conservative versus liberal, according to a respected federal survey of American youth.

Most people just keep doing whatever they are doing until they can't do it anymore. They never really learn to change their behavior after the original training sets in.
It is a recipe for disappointment to expect otherwise. There are enough exceptions to make careful observations worthwhile, but it is unwise to hope for adversity that will make people come around to a desired point of view.
Liberals who get mugged do not usually become conservatives.

That’s good. I worry that conservative young men right now aren’t going to find conservative young women easily. They need to find them in singles groups at church or maybe from Latin America?
Andrew Tate is an influential figure in social media so it wouldn’t surprise me if a lot of younger guys are listening to him so they are resisting the brainwashing from the Left.
Started with Gen X. Then it got worse with Millenials. Now it's hitting critical mass with Gen Z.
