I’ve watched the returns in this state for decades. That vote outcome was an impossible result. In our faces indeed.

I wouldn't describe West Chester is as a very affluent area. Lots of businesses and warehouses. It is, at best, middle to upper middle class.

Nearby Chester is a $#*+hole best avoided after dark and some parts of it are best avoided 23/7.

Outside of the Borough, WC is well off.
Chadds Ford, Pocopson, Unionville, etc have beyond middle class money.
