Robert Kennedy, Jr. announced Friday on Twitter that the Biden Administration has still not provided his campaign with Secret Service protection. Robert says after several requests they have received no response after 88 days!
This is unconscionable.
Robert Kennedy, Jr.: Since the assassination of my father in 1968, candidates for president are provided Secret Service protection. But not me.
Typical turnaround time for pro forma protection requests from presidential candidates is 14-days. After 88-days of no response and after several follow-ups by our campaign, the Biden Administration just denied our request. Secretary Mayorkas: “I have determined that Secret Service protection for Robert F Kennedy Jr is not warranted at this time.”
Our campaign’s request included a 67-page report from the world’s leading protection firm, detailing unique and well established security and safety risks aside from commonplace death threats.

RFK Jr is on very good terms with some former Special Forces guys who do private security. Knowing the CIA is probably recruiting some nut job who would like the notoriety of making it a Kennedy 3-fer, I suspect he is taking serious precautions on his own. Refusal to give him protection is absolutely damning & indicative of how much he is feared by the Regime. This will boomerang & his poll numbers & popularity will only go up with the public.

Obama got secret service protection in May 2007 - 18 months before the 2008 election.
If anything, RFK is even a bigger target for some lone gunman because of family history; plus whatever other bad actors that are thought to be around.

120 days may be the guidance but there is leeway. Obama started getting protection 18 months prior to the general election.
Kennedy is special but in the wrong direction; he is running against the presumptive deep state favorite. Decisions will not be made in favor of RFK.
I would not trust whoever Biden would assign. Better to pay for his own from campaign funds. He can get advice from Trump on that.
On the other hand the Secret Service track record in protecting Kennedys gets an F-.
