Vivek Ramaswamy is not legally eligible to be President. The natural born citizen clause predates the Fourteenth Amendment by several decades. He is a Fourteenth Amendment/Wong Kim Ark citizen, not a natural-born citizen. His campaign for the Presidency is illegitimate.

The natural born citizen clause predates the Fourteenth Amendment by several decades. That ship sailed with Obama.

No, it needs to be reiterated over and over that the natural born Citizen clause must never be subverted again even though Obama got away with it. Vivek’s non-natural born Citizen status must be brought to light to the masses.

So you contend that the King of England would be eligible to be President if he were born in the United States. Actually that is wrong no matter the circumstances, because the King is a Diplomatic Representative of a foreign nation.
You crazy guys need to read The Federalist Papers, the Congressional Records regarding the pertinent legislation and the Supreme Court specific cases regarding citizenship issues. This is not Rocket Science but it's very close.

Who the’F’ wants a” President Ramaswamy” in the United States ?
Go run for President of India .
Immigrants should stop corrupting our history with their non U.S.legacy ancestry and names.
I mean, seriously. Once done, it cannot be corrected.

Isn’t the legal system what matters, if you were born in the USA you are a citizen and eligible to be POTUS arguments to the contrary are pointless
Barack Obama was eligible to be President so is Vivek Ramaswamy so is Nikki Halley and Kamala Harris arguing over their eligibility is pointless given all the real issues that exist that people actually care about
To: DiogenesLamp
1898 IIRC. Anyone born on the territory of the US is a natural born citizen.
Hell, Barry Goldwater was born in Arizona before it was a state. Nobody even suggested he couldn’t become president. Similarly, children born to American mothers outside the country were always considered natural born citizens.

They can do this to vivek but not obama hes black
To: DiogenesLamp
That's based on the naturalization act of 1804, superseded by the opinion in Dred Scott and the 14th amendment.

Oh brother. Your “source” also tells us that black people can not be citizens. Great job, there.

It’s a Constitutional matter. It has to be brought up. It’s nothing silly about it. Vivek is a dual citizen owing allegiances to India and the US. That’s a no no in the founders original intent.
I swear the right is conniving at its own destruction. Ever hear of the term "one bridge at a time"?
Vivek isn't going to sniff the nomination much less the Presidency. Feel free to get caught up in SILLY wastes of time and energy, but don't drag others into it. Waste your time, not everyone else's over nonsense that literally won't matter.
But while you're at it, don't drive people away from the brand. I'm sure you can do the math there. Vivek's candidacy aside, the Indian population in the US is growing. It's going to be a voter bloc worth courting and having in the very near future. Crap all over a prominent Indian candidate and you risk alienating them, but I'm sure you knew that being a political animal, right?
TL;DR (yawn).....

Hawaii was a state. He was born there. There no evidence his mother ever left Hawaii. She was an American he was born in America. That is all thats required. He was not born in Canada or any other country. Airlines and doctors did not recommend pregnant women fly. He was born in early August why do you think he was in Canada, or out of the country?

Obama was born in Vancouver Canada. He was not a US Citizen by birth. That is the dirty secret they covered up about him.
Where is the evidence he was born in Canada?

Do not waste energy worrying about Ramaswamy’s eligibility. He will be on debate stage and GOP has already accepted his eligibility. Save your energy for more useful tasks such as volunteering to make phone calls for GOP candidates.

Oh yes, DeSantis groupies are not happy Ramaswamy has already been declared eligible for GOP debates coming up. If GOP thought he was not eligible, they would not allow him on debate stage.
