Trump supporters in New Hampshire want Vivek Ramaswamy as vice president pick: Anti-woke entrepreneur displaces Kari Lake as MAGA darling in DailyMail.com poll

Donald Trump's supporters in New Hampshire have a new favorite choice for vice president: They want youthful anti-woke entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy on the ticket.

He displaces Arizona's election-denying Kari Lake in the affections of MAGA world, according to a new DailyMail.com poll.

Ramaswamy, who has blitzed the early primary state with grassroots events, claims 19 percent of the VP vote ahead of South Carolina Senator Tim Scott and Lake who both take 17 percent.

It comes amid reports that Trump has cooled on Lake and days after he singled out Ramaswamy and Scott for praise while floating the idea the he could choose one of his opponents as his eventual running mate.

For his part, Ramaswamy told DailyMail.com he is in the race to win it, not settle for a runners-up prize.

Either way, it shows early state momentum for the likes of Scott and Ramaswamy, said James Johnson, who conducted the J.L. Partners poll.

'Though Vivek Ramaswamy is only the choice of four percent of New Hampshire primary voters for the presidential nomination, he has surged to the top of the table for who Trump voters want as the GOP's candidate for vice president,' he said.

'He is not the only one in contention — Kari Lake is snapping at his heels as is Tim Scott.

'But as voters settle on a top two of Trump and DeSantis in the presidential race, he does seem to be making headway in the race for Trump's attention.

'Whether he would take such a job — or if Trump would want someone with big ideas of his own in the role — remains to be seen.'

The former president told Fox News last week that he was impressed by the field running against him.

Wrong. He would be a great pick.

Who does he bring to the ticket that isn't already planning on voting for Trump to begin with?

Do you think there's a significant number of independent and swing voters out there saying, "I wasn't going to vote for Trump but Vivek Ramaswamy on the ticket changed things for me!"

Trump should pick a VP early so if he is unable to run/win there will be a MAGA heir apparent.

What make you think that will happen given all her legal challenges and all of Trump’s legal challenges have all been rejected by the courts and even if she is successful, there is ZERO chance they would remove Katie Hobbs and install Kari Lake and ZERO chance they would force a new election before the next scheduled election.

Well, he doesn’t talk like one, which is not easy to fake.

See Mitt “I’m severely conservative” Romney.

Or Tim Scott, who seems to throw bible phrases into everything.

Etc. Etc.

So, I’m wrong for staying he’s a WEF Golden Boy. He was never affiliated with the WEF and actually sued them for using his name. My bad.

Yup. He sure says the right things and gets everyone fired up, but we know next to nothing about him. No experience. No foreign policy experience. Lots and lots of unknown. Everything known about him is well-delivered words. Stuff coming out, WEF connections, Soros ties, Pfizer dealings....but he sounds great!

No thanks. I’ll stick with somebody who doesn’t just talk. Kari walks the walk. I would also possibly like to see a good conservative black Christian as VP pick.

They don’t write the news. They just make up a narrative. How has Trump soured on Lake as VP when she was never mentioned by Trump. The idea that they no longer get along is also trash. Also, the idea that the race has settled in to be Trump v Desanctimonius is also BS. In NH because Christie is tied or 1 or e points behind and nationally because Vivek is right behind or just ahead of Desanctus. Thus, this whole article is bunk.

Vivek would certainly be a more interesting VP pick than Mike Pence was. But so would Kari Lake and Tim Scott.

No experience. No foreign policy experience. Lots and lots of unknown.

All true of Trump in 2016, as well. I'm fine with that - I don't want a career politician. Someone who made their bones in the business world and became successful - like Trump or Vivek - is far likelier to be a good president than some lifelong political drone.

WHERE is the correct & detailed information about his birth status?

IS HE AN ANCHOR BABY?

IS HE NATURAL BORN CITIZEN????

NO ONE SEEMS TO BE WILLING TO CLARIFY THIS.

How do you know that to be the case? Is he even a Natural Born Citizen? Nobody has vetted him yet. Because Nikki Haley is not a Natural Born Citizen for sure. She was born before her parents became citizens. That means she was naturalized when her parents were.
