Huge explosions rocked Russian-occupied Crimea after suspected Ukrainian drones targeted an ammunition depot.
It is the third daring attack believed to have been masterminded by Ukraine on the annexed region this week in a humiliating blow to Vladimir Putin.
Sergei Aksyonov, the Moscow-installed leader of the region, reported the drone attack had succeeded in hitting an ammunition depot and there were no known casualties.
On telegram, he wrote: "As a result of an enemy drone on the Krasnogvardeisky district, there was a detonation at an ammunition depot.
"A decision was taken to evacuate people [living] within five kilometres" of the zone," he said, adding that: "To minimise risks, it was also decided to halt rail traffic on Crimean railways."
Footage shows multiple explosions near the city of Simferopol followed by a giant swarm of black smoke.
Local sources on social media suggested that drones struck an oil depot and airfield in the region, as well as the ammunition dump.
Kyiv has not yet commented on the strike.

An ammo dump is a legitimate military target.
That ordnance was intended for use in killing Ukrainians.

If anyone thinks their side is right, you’re deluded. No side is right in this. There is no “right” side. This is all a nwo mechanism to kill off more whites, more white men in particular. As well as burn through US conventional arms. And distract you from it by arguing over what side is “right”.

Russia could have foiled their nwo plan simply by staying on their side of the border.
