Conservative businessman Vivek Ramaswamy has caught up to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in a first national poll, a surprising tie as both are preparing to join in 2024’s first primary debate next month.
In the survey of likely Republican primary voters, Ramaswamy and DeSantis are tied at 12%, with former President Donald Trump continuing to dominate at 48%.
“Ramaswamy outperformed six other hopefuls by more than double, marking a significant surprise in this poll,” said pollster Doug Kaplan.

Sure Chan.
On this, we agree. DeSantis has made it clear he see Jesus Christ as his one and only savior. As for Trump, all I can find is him saying Jesus ~"did some good things, and endured a lot." If you have any proof Trump has said more, let's see it, but you have been short of proof of anything so far, so I won't hold my breath.
JAGs were further back and had more protection than most REMFs...
Bikkuri, the muzzle is Blue.
Blue guns are training guns. Like the ones used for Simunition training.
JAG officers, even in a combat theater, would normally only get an M9. And if an admin type did get a rifle, given the uniform he’s wearing, they probably would have gotten an M16. I’m sure you know the difference.
He is a maga come latel6y talking points generator with soros stink all over him.
President Trump is anti lbgt agenda now
Where is your proof? I call BS, cowboy.
Growing up I believed that outsiders were welcome to be president of the US. That’s what was told to us kids. You can be anything you want to be. After Trump I find this is not true. Same with Ramaswamy. Outsiders need not apply.
JAGs were further back and had more protection than most REMFs...
Exactly. They were there to write reports and for oversight
He wants to tear the trans agenda out of Schiols and the Military.
He seems to have money and some backing, and talks well, so those that don’t follow the more conservative shows or media people won’t know his background.
Vivek may have been some entity’s choice for presidential candidate, when desantis doesn’t make it.
So, this new shinny guy comes out spewing maga talking points, while having Soros and wef ties, and some people go ga ga over him. Not buying it. 🐍.
Yup.. It was a pic pose only. Means nothing..
Put down the crack pipe.
“I support Trump, but it is interesting to see how Vivek has advanced.”
As do I, but VR has caught my attention.
He banned Trans in the military while President, and deserves major credit for that.
So nothing has changed. Your Trump 2.0 moniker and Trump now being completely anti-LGBT like DeSantis is false.
DeSantis is the ONLY anti-LGBT candidate in the primary, as far as I know. Therefore, he should stay in the race as far as I’m concerned. I do NOT want someone like Dick Grennell as Secretary of State, as Steve Bannon has predicted if Trump wins.
2.) The H1B program, another visa problem. Businessmen have to deal with these real issues. It’s about having the people to do the work and constantly expand.
I owned a software engineering consulting firm for just over 25 years. I had to hire green cards because there weren’t enough decent American employee candidates. It was very disconcerting. Back when I was doing that it wasn’t to remain financially competitive, although foreigners were less expensive. It was a matter of just having competent people to take on more contracts. I would hire Americans if I could find them and if they were competent any day of the week over a foreigner simply because of the ability to communicate natively in English with our customers.
"price difference of in-state students vs. out-of-state/foreign students"
The solution is simple cut the student visas. I don’t think we should issue student visa to any rival nation and definitely not enemy nations like China. Why educate our competitors? That the stupidest most hideously ass-backwards immigration policy on the books.
I agree 100%.
Oh, forgot to mention the insane pricing that the universities (and colleges) have.
