A new poll in New Hampshire suggests that former President Donald Trump's large double-digit lead over his GOP rivals may be shrinking in the state that holds the first primary and second overall contest in the Republican presidential nominating calendar.
According to a University of New Hampshire Survey Center poll released on Tuesday, Trump enjoys the support of 37% of likely Republican presidential primary voters in the Granite State. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis stands at 23%, with the rest of the large field of contenders polling in the single digits.
Trump's 14-point lead over DeSantis is down from a 20-point margin in the previous UNH survey, which was conducted in April before the Florida governor launched his presidential campaign.

Amen!
You’ve got to be kidding! FOX picks and chooses the polls and any news they deem you need to know. Get real!
WOW! You just stumbled into Viking Kitteh territory!
…and another great one for the Kittehs!
I dont care if Trump polls last
Voting for him
Yes, we’ll all get our chance in six months. Me first in the Nevada caucuses on January 15, 2024. What state and date for you?
Wisconsin
New Hampshire isn’t “New Hampshire” anymore. It’s North Massachusetts. NH has two leftist democRAT Senators and a RINO governor...
You’ve been here about as long as me. I remember this “play”. Volunteered for GWB’s first campaign...the most conservative Governor EVAH! They did the same exact thing. Installed him in TX, worked with the TX legislature to pass laws on all of the hot button issues of the time.
Remember...he’s “nothing like his father”?
I figured out within a few months that I’d been played, and despise him to this day.
The Republicans have a long history of doing this. This DeSantis thing has been a plan since he quit Congress to run for Governor...it’s even some of the same people running the scheme!
The most ironic thing is, their plan was almost foiled because DeSantis is so odd that he needed DJT to drag him over the finish line to win his first term.
Collecting and completing ballots for others is now legal. Call it fraud or not. If the election were rigged against Trump last time so that he couldn’t win, why wouldn’t they do it again and therefore why is he running?
Well ok then lol...
They will try to do it, and more, to anybody who is running against them, but I suspect you already knew that.
How about the polls I referenced, Trump versus Biden and DeSantis versus Biden? Those are virtually even.
Of course.
TBH, it’s kind of liberating to feel my emotional investment in future elections diminishing. Hopefully, I’m at the point soon where I care little more about them than I do elections in some other country.
Democrats are disciplined and tactically shrewd while Republicans are stubborn and tactically stupid. D’s have spent decades structurally changing the country and voting mechanics to maximize their advantage while Republicans have focused on winning a game where Democrats set the rules. R’s remind me of bad gamblers whose strategy of overcoming an ever increasing house edge is to play as recklessly as possible. I’m done going along with their foolishness.
I hope there is something I missed. I will vote against Biden or whoever replaces him.
It’s worse than that. You would need them to nominate a closet moderate who would also have to not give a damn about getting primaried at the drop off a hat. There are probably quite a few moderates in their conference who vote like Mao bc they’re petrified of their activist base.
Look at them with Sinema. She’s been there for them on every vote, yet they’re still ready to run her out on a rail in Arizona of all places, not California.
As you said, maybe we have become as bad as countries we used to laugh at. Or worse (Biden, Fetterman).
