Former Ohio governor and 2016 Republican presidential candidate John Kasich on Tuesday said he’s “proud” of decisions he’s made to publicly disavow former President Trump in the past and called on 2024 GOP presidential candidates to have the courage to do the same.
“When I took on Trump, from the beginning – refused to endorse him, refused to go to the convention, endorsed Joe Biden – I’m not calling myself out as a great leader. But what I’ll say is: So what? I did what I felt I had to do,” the former Ohio governor said in an interview on MSNBC.

Deep State doesn’t have a deep bench, but it does have a YUGE collection of dunce chairs.
Was he eating a submarine sandwich?
Sad, thing is this guy actually carried Ohio in the 2016 Primary…
Pretty sure Ohioans have wised up since then.
Its “Republicans” like this that make me sick to my stomach..with Republicans like this who needs Dems to do anything..the GOP has just as many neocons as the Dem party
That’ll do, Pig Vomit. That’ll do.
A RINO bleats...
Just so everyone is clear on the say something part.
At first I thought he meant they should “step up and say something” about the Democrats engaging in political persecutions like a banana republic.
But then I remembered it’s Kasich we are talking about.
John Kasich endorses Joe Biden who has helped the abortion movement slaughter blacks and poor babies.....Even the black CEO admitted Planned Parenthood was racist...For years...Gosh,Johnny,no problem with African American murders?????
Well , no one is proud of Kasich and his partying with Gary Condit. ( the Chandra Levi boyfriend, I think that was his name)
I think most people agree with him on that.
John Kasich has a terminal case of Krispy Kristie TDS.
Seems there’s no vaccine for it.
I am not sure what Trump did in 2016 to invoke Kasich’s ire except beat him in the primaries. But Kasich even went so far as to speak at the 2016 Democratic National Convention and utter a lot of made up nonsense about Joe Biden.
““I know the measure of the man,” said Kasich, noting that he has known the longtime Delaware politician for 30 years. “He’s reasonable, faithful, respectful, and you know, no one pushes Joe around.”
“Joe Biden is a man for our times,” he said. “Times that call for all of us to take off our partisan hats and put our nation first, for ourselves and, of course, for our children.”
You are right, Kasich is a total jag bag.
I think they voted for Pig Vomit to get him OUT of Ohio.
Used to respect you. Now I can't stand you.
