Lisa Murkowski Threatens to Leave Republican Party and Join Democrats, Several Republican Senators Including Thune, Romney, Cornyn and Young Agree

For those of us who have been trying to awaken people to the true nature of Republicans in the senate, aka “the Decepticons”, the latest self-admissions are very welcome.

According to interviews conducted by The Hill, several Republican senators are now saying they just cannot be members of the Republican Party if they are forced to represent the interests of the base voter. These very specifically named Republicans have always been members of the UniParty in DC; however, now they are saying “populism” amid the commonsense, America First voting base is not going to be acceptable. The senators are openly warning that if putting American interests first is going to be demanded by the voters, these Republicans will just become Democrats. There is no reason for Americans to distrust the institutions the Republican senators support, and there will be no compromise or discussion.

What is making these Republican senators angrier is that who they consider to be intellectual and professional people are also demanding a more populist approach toward a government that represents the people. This is just not going to be allowed according to Lisa Murkowski, John Thune, John Cornyn and the other names outlined.

WASHINGTON DC – […] “We should be concerned about this as Republicans. I’m having more ‘rational Republicans’ coming up to me and saying, ‘I just don’t know how long I can stay in this party,’” said Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska). “Now our party is becoming known as a group of kind of extremist, populist over-the-top [people] where no one is taking us seriously anymore.

IF there were some chance that Trump could overwhelm their fraud apparatus in the 2024 election and win, like 2016, I could see a bunch of RINO’s changing parties to thwart him.

I can’t grift enough money being a Republican anymore

Oh, they can grift plenty. They want US to shut up, or go away. When Rush Limbaugh hit it big, he would be at gatherings, and power (not necessarily elected) Republicans, maybe activists, maybe donors, suggested that of course he was pro-life on the radio for audience and ratings. Fortunately, Limbaugh was confident enough in his own skin that he made it clear that was who he was. Others aren't.

Seems to me that this PROVES that they are democrats in Republican clothing.

They vote AGAINST their Republican constituents- WITH the democrats and when constituents complain, they threaten to switch parties…

Good riddance to these vermin.

Why does McCarthy want Manchin to get re-elected?
It was his demand that the Pipeline be included in Debt Ceiling deal to save Mansion.

The same reason the House GOP is slow-walking everything so they run out of time and don’t Impeach Joe.

The same reason the Senate Republicans didn’t issue one subpoena to Investigate Joe / Hunter from 2016-20.

Tom Daschle has been busy again.
I wonder how much the Chinese are paying these people to ignore their constituents?

I fall in the conservative segment. Just because Murkowski, et al don’t want to be populists doesn’t mean that they are conservatives. They are not. They are the left wing of the Party.

Yup. And they cause more trouble than they are worth. A new coalition is forming. Most coalitions have a dominant faction that characterizes the party. MAGA characterizes the dominant coalition in the Republican Party. We can lose the left Republicans, but we will have to replace them with other people. Trump did that in 2016. We will have to build off of that work, possibly losing some elections in the meantime, in order to win over a coalition that doesn't love its own belly more than God and Country. I don't know if that is a majoritarian coalition anymore, but it is the only one worth having.

Thanks to Mitch McConnell....the leader of the assistant Democrat party

Why do you call them "RINOs" or "Assistant Democrats"?

McConnell, Murkowski, Romney, Thune, Cornyn are the perfected version of what the GOP actually is, and what they actually will stand and fight for.

The GOP believes in and will fight for:

1) Open borders
2) A global open market in labor
3) Offshoring productive industries
4) Financialization of the economy
5)) Severing the medium of exchange function of money from the store of value function.
6) Usury as the main engine of consumption.
7) Denying the people their natural, healthy love of their nation
8) Overseas wars on behalf of alien peoples without recompense for our sacrifice.
9) Forced "diversity" with its attendent decline in standards and inevitably accompanying violence.

The GOP has plenty of principles, convictions, and values. YOU must decide if they are yours, or not.

Maybe, if you still are a member, it's YOU that's the RINO.

Cornyn isn’t honest enough to run as the democrat he is.

I don’t like Cornyn

Cornyn votes with Reid/Schumer more often than he votes with Cruz

Remember when the Turtle withheld campaign funds for several Republican Senate candidates in order to lavish money on Murkowski who was running against.....another Republican?

That was last year.

The RINO Establishment is the enemy.

Lisa Murkowski is as corrupt as they come. Republican voters in Alaska chose someone else to replace her (Joe Miller), and she lost the primary. She successfully mounted a write-in campaign and got the Democrats in Alaska to help her remain in office. She is a LOSER, I hope she leaves the party. She should be run out of office entirely.

A second Republican senator who spoke with The Hill said the growing strength of radical populism

Of the people, by the people, for the people. Sounds pretty populist to me, not "radical" at all.
