I guess it's never flooded or was hot in the US before. So I guess we'll lock down for a year and a half and wear masks out of an abundance of caution..đ

“Millions across US experiencing heat wave”
Well, that seems to be a trend in summer. Is our ‘education’ system so bad that people cannot read a calendar?

Here in Buffalo, it's been cool. We had an unseasonably hot few days in April, but for the most part, April, May, June have been on the cool side. Snowflakes in April. Now, middle of July, its 77 degrees. Very pleasant, but normally we are in the mid 80's about now.
I guess the news media must have missed all this.

Last night ABC announced that 90 MILLION were hot and 45 MILLION were wet, but they failed to mention the 200 MILLION who were just fine.

There is no dome of heat. This is propaganda.
I look at many kinds of weather maps daily for the US and the entire world. This propaganda is very frustrating because it has no relationship with the truth and exists solely to re-enforce a falsehood: “climate change / globull warming”.

I guess coloring normal temps from green to red on weather maps made the Erf heat up.

I have noticed that they post the heat index values instead of the actual temperatures on their maps. The serfs are easily duped into climate crisis.

Itâs been hot here in St. Louis, but we get the afternoon T storms to cool things off and clear the air. I love the Midwest.

It’s been a cold wet summer in Alaska. Statewide we’ve only had 1500 acres of forest fires. That’s less than 2.5 square miles burned so far this year.

I clicked on the NY Post link to see the full story. Guess what?! The word “climate” is not in the story. Not once.
What’s going on?

NW WA is supposedly enduring record heat. Northern CA too. I remember visiting family in Lake Shasta/Redding area in the 60’s. It was 115F. Being from Washington State, I wondered why the kids didn’t go out to play during the day. Stepped outside, and IT WAS HOT....1964 it was.

Here in the Ozarks it has been one of the coolest and wettest years I can ever remember. Moved here in 1956.
By now people in our area should be screaming about the dryness and praying for rain while the temp should be around 100-110 every day.

stay trapped under a dome of heat I'm 71. All my life, I've been "trapped under a dome of heat" in summer.
Indiana. Kentucky. Florida. Alabama. California. Oklahoma. Tennessee. North Carolina. Those are states I've lived in. And, every one of those states has that "dome of heat."
Good to now know what it's called, cause we always called it "summer."
