--- "Wokesters need victims as part of their Marxist indoctrination. Having an identified group of victims in their environment gives them a sense of purpose.Note that there is absolutely NO plan to rescue these victims from the problems that plague them."

The KOMO "Seattle is Dying" ends with an actual answer, which of course the Democrats in Seattle totally ignore. Proving the assertion that "there is absolutely NO plan to rescue these victims from the problems that plague them."

The naive and simplistic "oppressor-oppressed" game requires no real thought and NO answers. Only punishment for the assigned oppressors by the "oppressed." Oddly the progressive elite are not oppressed....

Lots of people like having a friend or acquaintance who they can point to and secretly flex how they themselves are more successful.

Especially, if “helping”(sabotaging) the disadvantaged makes themselves look good by comparison.

Wokesters kill cities by enabling drug addicts, mental illness, and homelessness.

IOW, the plan by 'wokesters' (aka: progressives and democrats) is working magnificently.

Government draws sociopaths as files to honey. Money and power are irresistible to these folks, and what better way to protect one’s self from prosecution for crimes committed than controlling the means of prosecution?
The vast sums of money available for pilfering, and the shield from prosecution that control of the justice system gives them is the perfect environment for their nefarious activities. The worse things are, the more money pours in to “fix” the problems they have created.

Communists need the system to collapse to demonstrate why we need to put them in charge to fix everything.

Perhaps an Upton Sinclair Memorial Campground should be set up in some wasteland at least 60 minutes drive from San Francisco.

There in lieu of all other governmental handouts recreational drug fanciers could set up tents and receive more than lethal amounts of ‘free’ [i.e. government-funded] recreational drugs.

Good Morning, Mr. Mental Case!

Let me get your mental health drink.

Drink it up!

See, wasn’t that easy and tasty.

Just a minute while I authorize your per diem government handouts.

All done!

Have a nice day! See you tomorrow.

The only thing of value today that cities produce are fraudulent blue votes

I’m not sure of the exact thought but it means don’t screw with an enemy while he if screwing himself.

The City States in coalition control their states and thus the country.

For America to be Americ, the City States must be destroyed. They are in fact self destructing.

There must be no effort to stop or impede or reverse that process

Self Destruction of the City States is good, a blessing, for America

“researchers estimated that their ultra-white paint could reduce air conditioning use by up to 70 percent in hot cities like Reno, Nevada, and Phoenix, Arizona”

https://www.smithsonianmag.com/innovation/ultra-white-paint-may-someday-replace-air-conditioning-180977560/

“they also developed an earlier ultra-white paint made from calcium carbonate that reflected 95.5 percent of sunlight.”

“We found that if you put different particle sizes in your paint, then each particle size can scatter and reflect different wavelengths and, all together, they reflect the entire spectrum of wavelengths in sunlight,”

In theory compact cities could be built in areas normally hotter than coastal California that would be painted and planted to have California climates.

Crystal Lagoons makes ocean blue bodies of water.

California needs to clean up its act.

This is what the D’s have always done. It’s straight out of their playbook and is nothing new.

Appeal to peoples’ ‘compassion’ and say that these policies are because they ‘care so much’ when all they do is keep people that need help exactly where they are, to perpetuate the need for their ‘compassionate’ policies - and anyone that disagrees is ‘heartless’. They do it for votes, all about power and money under the veil of ‘being a good person’, while being exactly the opposite.

The shame is that many doing the voting believe the good intentions, while the people in power know exactly what they’re doing. They are evil.

Look at the drug fueled Zombie Apocalypse in Kensington(Philly). Heroin/Fentanyl capital of East Coast. The Democrats who have run Philadelphia for 80 years do nothing to stop it. NOTHING.

...rescuing these victims would be an anathema to the Wokesters because it would remove a victim and thereby remove a source of pleasure/sense of purpose.

Shellenberger refers to this need of victims as a mass case of Munchausen by Proxy Syndrome which most of us know as a condition whereby a parent creates a fantasy illness for a child to get attention from doctors and provide the public appearance and internal sense of fulfillment to the parent as a "caregiver."

Completely missing the main component - there's money to be made. An industry is crafted around this and engaged in never solving but managing this ordeal. Waste of time to listen to this guy unless he competently delves into the aspect of following the money.

What an extraordinary lecture by an open-minded, highly intelligent man who has seen through the barriers of left and right, including his own background, to view with fresh eyes the hidebound problem ruining San Francisco. Thank you so much for posting this, RR.

I also had a good look through the sponsoring organization’s website, Fieldstead, after hearing Mrs. Ahmandson announce the upcoming attractions in their program. I hope to enjoy more of the lectures available at Fieldstead’s website.
