Debates by Democrat moderators are a waste of time. He can get more traction from a rally.
Trump is not entitled to the nomination but people know their former president. They don’t know DeSantis, Nikki, Tim Scott and others as well.
People were unhappy W didn’t attend the earliest debates in 2000 because he was the perceived front runner but W wasn’t a former POTUS.
They are skipping TPUSA, except Vivek, because they see it as another Trump rally.

I still think Trump should host his own debate the same night as the RNC debates, with a fair, non-MSM moderator, and give candidates a choice on which to attend.

Trump has been traveling thr country, sacrificing his simple life for the good of the country and he’s been hitting thr number 2 to the point that people are asking why he doesn’t just focus on Biden (as if he had the nomination). It is JULY. Unknown candidates in Iowa should be pounding pavement, eating deep fried Twinkies at the fair, meeting with local party and interest group poobahs. The debates/fora come later.

Seems to me, Trump’s more than earned the votes he’s going to get... you on the other hand, keep losing support.
Honestly Trump should set up a livestream and just offer commentary to the live “debate”... I guarantee Trump’s livestream would get many times the viewers than the “debate” of the also rans and never wills, will get.
