DETROIT (Reuters) -The U.S. electric vehicle market is growing, but not fast enough during the latest quarter to prevent unsold EVs from stacking up at some automakers' dealerships or to allow Tesla to avoid new price cuts, according to analysts and industry data.
Rising inventories and price-cutting could represent only a short-term pause in EV market growth. But they could be signals that boosting U.S. EV sales above the current 7% market share level will be more costly and difficult than expected, even with federal and state subsidies.

Really they don’t want you jacking up the car and punching the jack thru the battery casing - frame. You would die from the discharge to ground if you were touching the jack.
I have a suggestion. Let’s do an experiment. Let’s suspend all of the EV subsidies for a year. If EV sales remain the same or increase we can deduce that EV’s are a superior product in the free market. If on the other hand EV sales tank then we can assume the product sucks hence no one wants to buy them. So quit giving my tax money away to virtue signaling idiots then.
free case of bud light with every purchase
Next could be “the subzero weather here caused the batteries to wear out sooner.”

Unexpectedly.
You’ll notice Santa hasn’t gone to electric.
GM / Government Motors is getting more then $1 billion a year from the federal gov’t / taxpayers for electric car plant and will cut the pay of the workers nearly in half. They start at $16.50/hr and it will take 7 years before they get $20/hr.
Opposition to EVs comes from everything that FR should oppose: the UAW that destroyed the American ICE industry, Democrats that hate Musk for defending free speech, the dying auto manufacturing industry from the big 3 to Toyota, hydrogen dioxide, PM2.5s, ozone, carbon monoxide and on. We can care less about CO2 and cheer on EVs. Let the Left fight EVs. EVs are our best friend.
