You do realize that the Russian majority in Crimea only dates to 1944 when the native Tartar population was deported by Stalin and replaced by Russians, don’t you? Crimea does not have a long standing Russian majority population.
Do you really think that NATO has plans to invade a nuclear armed Russia? On the other hand, Russia has clearly demonstrated that former states of the Soviet Union need protection from Russian invasions. The Russians are not innocent choir boys here.
You don't have the "freedom" in Ukraine to belong to a pro-russian party or the "freedom" to belong to the Orthodox Moscow Patriarch, who has told his followers that "sacrifice in the course of carrying out your military duty washes away all sins."
All other Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, Baptist, Muslims are free to practice their faith, unlike in russian occupied areas.

Russian troops raided Grace Baptist Church in Melitopol while a worship service was underway, shut it down and ordered the pastor to leave the city.
Hyun Sook Foley described the raid on Grace Baptist Church on September 11:
‘They entered the sanctuary while the congregation was singing a hymn, halted the worship service, registered the names of all present and detained several ministers.’ She says the occupiers also gave the pastor Mikhail Brisyn just 48 hours to get out of the city.

In 1783 Kathrine the Great took the Crimea from the Ottoman Turks (Islam). The Ottoman Empire almost conquered Europe, twice. Given a choice between the Ottoman’s and the Russians I’ll take the Russians any day.
Zenlensky is a crook and Ukraine is full of real honest to G*d Nazis. I think the USA should stay completely out of this war. Russia has no interest in the Western part of the Ukraine and the USA should have no interest in any part of the Ukraine.
