White House press secretary Kraine Jean-Pierre called out Caitlin Doornbos, a reporter with the New York Post, who asked her during Friday's briefing to state on the record that a bag of cocaine allegedly found in the White House on Sunday did not belong to a member of the Biden family.
REPORTER: Can you just say once and for all whether or not the cocaine belonged to the Biden family?
KARINE JEAN-PIERRE: We're not avoiding the question, that is not true, we've answered the question, and we've litigated the question for the past two days exhaustively.
You know, there has been some irresponsible reporting about the family and so I gotta call that out here. I have been very clear. Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., is calling for President Biden and White House staff members to take a drug test after a bag of cocaine was found inside the executive mansion over the holiday weekend.
“So let me get this straight, the White House is refusing to say whether the cocaine culprit will be arrested,” Boebert questioned in a tweet on Thursday.
“Well, I think we should drug test EVERYONE, including Joe Biden, until we know who smuggled illegal drugs into the White House,” she said.
The only way her screed is relevant is if they know when it was left, and that it was left when none of the Biden’s were there. The fact that they weren’t there when the cocaine was discovered doesn’t matter a bit.
So it was left at a different time (and they therefore know when & who), or she’s avoiding the question - again.
