Good info, thanks. I think about Mike Lindell kicked out of the banks for being a “reputational risk”. There are other examples. The line between public and private is blurry. Social credit scores are coming in one form or another.

Criminals have been given a “licence to shoplift” in the UK as police resources are spent elsewhere, warned the head of a major retailer.
Dame Sharon White, the chairwoman of John Lewis & Partners, which operates department stores and the upmarket supermarket chain Waitrose in the UK has warned of increased criminality, including shoplifting and assaults on retail workers amid the cost of living crisis. She stated that assaults on employees at Waitrose had doubled since 2020.
Citing research from the British Retail Consortium, Dame Sharon noted that there are 850 incidents of abuse or violence at retail stores in Britain every day. In the year leading up to April, retailers throughout the country lost a record high £950 million to shoplifting and theft, up from £663 million during the previous year.

I’ll bet that most of the French population wish that France had not allowed unfettered immigration during the 50’s and 60’s.
These rioters are the (great) grandchildren of the immigrants brought in to replace the WW I and WW II deaths of the French army.

Allowing a class of people to loot and rob with basically no fear of being stopped by people is paying the looters not to riot!

And people on FR have defended it and cried about how that is "capitalism" (it is not but whatever)
They also cheer when the government promotes banks and other businesses organizing into one big giant bank because "that's capitalism" (it is not but whatever).
And if you don't like it then start your own bank. The government will not allow you to do that or they will close your bank because people write nasty and untrue newspaper articles about you and, according to them, "that's capitalism" And it is all your own fault for not bowing down hard enough before the government.
These people are not conservatives and would not recognize capitalism if it bit them.
