The woman who Mayor Eric Adams compared to a plantation owner during a fiery town hall exchange on Wednesday is a decades-long tenants advocate who’s lived in New York City since she and her parents left Europe fleeing from the Nazis.
Jeanie Dubnau, 84, an assistant professor of biology at Rutgers University, told The Post that Adams’ comments about her were merely “deflection” to avoid accountability for his policies.
“The main point is that the mayor has shown he’s an enemy of all the rent stabilized tenants in New York City,” she said. “You know, Mayor Adams is a landlord stooge and the enemy of tenants in New York City. He gets millions of dollars from real estate. That’s the main issue here.”

I am not saying I would take the woman’s position on rent controls, but Adams reacted merely as if a “white” woman was “attacking” him, and worse that that “white” woman did so thinking she could “get away with it” because he is “black”. He proved he is as thin skinned as some other politicians we know, and that he wears his race on his sleeve and assumes those who disagree with him have a “racial” bias.
The sad thing is that will mean someone farther to the left next.
I don’t believe in rent control, but it doesn’t help to attack someone like this.

Adams only took this job to tide him over until he gets his five million dollar “reparations” check from the American taxpayers. And they say Justice Thomas and Gorsuch have a problem with ethics. This “reparations” swindle is nothing but thievery.
Adams doesn’t live in San Franciscilo, so no check for him.

Excuse me but NY has set up commission to look into reparations for blacks.
