federal legalization of marijuana, arguing that states should be allowed to decide their own pot laws without federal interference.
on further review, doesn’t make sense. But remember some reporter and editor was involved.

This would be a great step in undoing the insane policy of allowing alcohol to be legal, with all the vehicular death and destruction it causes (not to mention health issues) verses a God-given plant that’s a proven anti-inflammatory health benefits and has saved many would-be alcoholics.
Good Job Kennedy!

Although I think legalization is a mistake, I agree that it is a mistake that should be made at the state level. Or else the feds should have stopped states from legalizing it some years ago. We are now half in and half out and that just makes no sense.

The present situation is that pot is legalized to varying degrees in various states some go the medicinal route others more liberal about it.

The younger generations already think old people were insane for making it illegal, so anyone still holding that belief is just going to be seen as way out of touch as time goes on.

Eh, better issues to think aboutPerhaps, but it’s an issue that may lead to a helluva lot of people learning about the powers given the federal government in the U.S. Constitution and the 10th Amendment. That kind of thinking leads to a much smaller federal government. It can be applied to nearly everything the federal government does, which is fine with me.

We have a national standard for drunk behind the wheel.
We need to have a national standard for stoned behind the wheel.
Until that’s the case, we’re putting the cart before the horse

Another thing I agree with Bobby on. Theist is growing. Pretty soon there might be a Kennedy flag out front.
I don’t think pot should be legal, it’s gross. But I agree with states rights more than my own opinions about stuff.
To: ChicagoConservative27
Bad idea.
But I'm open to compromise, if the marijuana in question is pure, no added fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, PCP or other illegal drugs, I could go along with legalization.
Also no hindrance for employers to fire people when they fail a drug test.
No Stoners' Rights.

The war on “WEED” has been LOST!
Too late to put it back in the jar.
Step up enforcement of DUI (including weed). Public intoxication (including for weed).
Its like forcing gun laws on law abiding citizens instead of enforcing tough sentencing for criminals who use guns.
ass-backwards Bizarro World.
