Time to repeal the 17th Amendment and eliminate the Senior Executive Service via a Convention of States with two line items to be voted on number one repeal the 17th Amendment and two eliminate the senior executive service.
Those who scoff at the law and have gained power through questionable means, are banding together to ram it down our collective throats. This is no longer a mere annoyance implying an underlying threat, it has gone existential, and is aimed at creating irreparable damage to the very fabric of the Great American Experiment.
King George III of England posed a similar threat in the late 18th Century to the colonies of North America, of which some colonies chose acquisition, but the more southernly colonies chose rebellion. Thus were born the Dominion of Canada, and the United States.
Today the external threat is not the British Crown, but the World Economic Forum, to which Canada has chosen to submit, and which certain factions within the United States are trying very hard to bring this country on board with the New World Order.
The WEF is NOT a legitimate body for the dictation of rules, some of which are poorly thought out or established in a highly undemocratic manner, and are aimed at abolishing local governmental authority. Their objectives of “equity, social, and governance” proceed from a flawed vision of human behavior, and the goals of “diversity, equity and inclusion” cannot be achieved without severe penalties being placed upon those who do not conform. There is no room in this outlook for compromise, or reconsideration, or even discussion of growing problems.
Authoritarian regimes are all alike in one respect - they believe themselves to the the supreme authority on every aspect of life, and rule by decree or fiat outweighs any parliamentary procedure or representative election of legislators. Command-and-control seems at first to be more “efficient”, but results in a sullen and sometimes contrarian population, with ferment rising over time.

Because of a mistake I made in doing taxes I owed $3,000 one year and the IRS hounded me to death until I paid in full or would be subject to legal action and penalty.

What a travesty. There has always been a multi tiered system of justice, but like everything else, the cheaters aren’t even trying to hide. No more under the table sweetheart deals. They’re openly doing it and daring us to do anything about it.
