Reminds of Kay Bailey Huchinson, who DESPITE being very pro-military (at least in her early Senate years), sided with Leftist in the Tailhook case, because she was a woman, and women never lie - and the facts of the case never mattered to her.
Here’s what Trump said when questioned about Wray on Hannity a few weeks ago. You have to see it to believe it. Not only does he say that he appointed Wray “because Democrats liked him” he also says “only time will tell” if Wray should be fired.

If Trump is the last man standing I’ll certainly support him. But his current behavior is making it ever so difficult to do so in the primaries.
He has totally misread the sentiments of the Republican voters! He doesn’t stand a chance.
Trump really picked some steamers for key positions. Why wouldn’t he do it all over again?
