The office of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis acknowledged on Wednesday the state has in its possession a golf simulator that reportedly was given to the governor’s mansion by a wealthy political donor with close ties to the Republican governor.
The Washington Post and Reuters reported Wednesday that Mori Hosseini, a Florida developer and longtime GOP donor in the state, had lent a golf simulator to the governor’s mansion in 2019.
Asked about the reports, DeSantis spokesman Jeremy Redfern referred CNN to a statement he issued to the Post which did not dispute the source of the simulator.

Some here say they will vote for RFK Jr. over DeSantis. Others say the will stay home if it is DeSantis in the general.
Doesn’t make sense. I guess we have paid influencers like other media sites. What else would explain multiple anti-DeSantis articles each day by the same few people.

I broke my age a dozen times on a fairly challenging 18 hole course Orchard Hillsin Washougal, WA. It was strictly playing 5 rounds of 18 every week weather permitting. Golf simulators are for duffers.
Forget it Gator, they all see the world through Orange colored lenses. It’s all about retribution for 2020, not about the future of this country.
And separately, about China, instead of tariffs, maybe DeSantis has another approach? Tariffs are but one approach. Personally, I'd say cut off all trade, cold turkey, and give tax breaks to US companies restoring manufacturing here in the US. Maybe do same south of the border if those same companies recruit Mexicans in the US to go south for that work. Lots of things we can do to find non-Chinese sources for products.

Well, that’s okay... so what is his strategy, if not tariffs? He should have the guts at this point to elucidate it. Why didn’t he?
