Party of Slavery = Democrats
Party of Confederacy = Democrats
Party of KKK = Democrats
Party of Jim Crow = Democrats
Party of Segregation = Democrats

And don’t give me that carp that the parties have switched.

Labor unions supported Democrats when George Wallace was governor of Alabama and fighting against desegregation.

Labor unions support Democrats to this day.

There was no “switcheroo.”

Two Ivy League schools, Yale and Brown, are named for men who made their fortunes in the Rhode Island and Connecticut slave trade. They were the original benefactors of those schools.

This constant virtue signaling, at the expense of the Confederate States, is beyond tiresome. The northern states embraced slavery, until they had no further economic incentive.

Why? You don't like facts and truth? Believe what you want, but it is quite provable.

From 1868 to 1932, black people voted exclusively Republican. After LBJ created his great vote buying scheme, black people went from being split between the two parties to voting exclusively Democrat. (95% now.)

The big government liberals who like high taxes have always lived in Boston, New York, Washington DC, Chicago, and so forth. Guess where these same liberals live today?

Yes, Liberals live in the North East, and they always have, but back in 1860, the liberals called themselves "Republicans."
