Two Ivy League schools, Yale and Brown, are named for men who made their fortunes in the Rhode Island and Connecticut slave trade. They were the original benefactors of those schools.

This constant virtue signaling, at the expense of the Confederate States, is beyond tiresome. The northern states embraced slavery, until they had no further economic incentive.
