Ok. I’m just going to say it. You don’t need an F-16 to challenge the government.

Half or more of the actual combat troops wouldn’t fight Americans who are simply trying to survive a tyrannical government. Your heavy-hitters such as infantry, tank drivers, and pilots are going to say, “nope.”

How do I know? I’m one of those guys mentioned above. I interact with those other guys mentioned above. Now, your logistical support? That’s where they guys and girls who wanted free college money and are less likely to be patriotic reside.

Also, I, and others, just spent 20+ years prosecuting a war against an insurgency. Let’s just say that F-16 wouldn’t drop a bomb danger-close to what it’s trying to protect. And this fight would be danger-close...small arms range in mostly urban and suburban environments.

It’ll be ugly and costly. Let’s pray it never happens.

God forbid the people ever turn on the United States of America and her government. It would be over pretty quick. I would not want to be a member of the military if the people turned on our country. Imagine 150 million Americans standing up for their rights in being incredibly well-armed versus a military that would not be very happy about going against her own sons and daughters. I think it would be a pretty quick and almost immediate collapse of our government’s leadership. Joe Biden is right about one thing. You don’t need an M16. You don’t need an AR-15. You don’t need an AR-14. All you need is the people to have a reason and if we are just a step away from an entire financial collapse if all people want is food and gas in their vehicle, politicians can be replaced pretty quick. Joe maybe replaced by his own party without guns. At this moment they could use the 25th amendment against him. They could use his prior actions of treason against the United States and even filling out a false statement when he ran for president that he did not engage in treasonous acts against his country. Governments need the military. All people need is a reason. Let them eat cake :-)

It’s not American soldiers I am worried about. It’s the PLA soldiers streaming across the open border in civilian clothes I’m worried about. They will get dressed in American uniforms and do the door to door confiscation.

The US military is optimized for counterinsurgency, not peer conflict.

They are trying to ideologically replace the remaining conservatives in the military via woke indoctrination and vaccines.

Given current recruitment patterns they will likely succeed.

The Globohomo DC Regime can also count on a lot of foreign mercenaries who would love to come to the USA to kill white conservatives.

Yes there are tens of millions of Americans with small arms. But insurgents in Afghanistan and Iraq took tremendous casualties from precision weapons like Excalibur and drones.

As long as there are some safe Blue Enclaves, it will be difficult to defeat them via small arms alone.

They aren’t going to give up and leave like Afg and Iraq. Where would they go ?

Planning for our own Homeland needs to be realistic about the capabilities of the other side.

I’d like to be optimistic about this. But the actions of police during corona suggest otherwise.

“Also, I, and others, just spent 20+ years prosecuting a war against an insurgency.”

And one thing that people who didn’t go through that might not realize is: if you are trained to fight a counter-insurgency, then you also have essentially learned how to fight as an insurgent. Not every vet who served in Iraq and Afghanistan has that experience, but plenty of them do.
