Neither did we.
It’s hard to get good help these days.
He got duped into picking people that he was told would be “Safe picks” instead they were people who were the complete opposite of him..they brought the deep state in, he didnt know..he was NOT a career politician, so now he knows better..here’s an idea, NEVER EVER EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR take advice from Chris Christie EVER
He!!, I didn’t know Washington like I know now! I thought it was bad, but I swear I had no idea the cesspool of depravity and corruption that place had become! It’s a blob living in a swamp and it destroy everything in its path!
Trump responded, “Because I hired 10:1 that were fantastic.” He also maintained the ratio of hires who still praise him to critics is 20:1.
eyes on the ball, not the misdirect of fake news.
Duh. You drain the Swamp by hiring the swamp.
He fired Flynn, not Ivanka.
Lol 🤡
wow. that is a very disappointing answer to an obvious question. he hasn’t learned.
Lol. If he has to say that, he must even doubt what he’s saying. He picked the worst group of people in history. No that is not exaggeration. So many he chose turned on him. He always said this guy is great. The best. And boom he leave and bashed trump. One or two are on them. Dozens it’s on trump. Doesn’t know Washington, he says? Well why did you run then?
Trump should break out the Boston phone book and randomly choose people next time around. Check that, pick from phone books from a bunch of conservative small towns in the middle of flyover country.
If he was a real maverick he would have picked more people from the private sector. Why did we get all those swamp filth? Dumb.
they have to go thru the nominating process
a process controlled by the swamp turtle
He also had to get nominees through McConnell’s 52 seat Senate. A Senate with John McCain, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski (not to mention Burr, Portman, etc.).
Then he had to get nominees through a 51 seat Senate after a Democrat won Jeff Sessions’ seat.
Deep State doesn’t just blatantly advertise its deep state.
Most of Trump’s appointments were highly respected people that had the support of most of us. Then we got educated to the Washington scams. On the military side, I know officers who were on the staffs of some of Trumps’ picks. They all were stunned . Those were great guys on active duty and everyone was left wondering what happened to them.
Rush made this point repeatedly. That President Trumps love of America dominates his positions but, he is not an ideologue and as an outsider when he got to DC didn’t quite grasp the hatred that The Swamp Dwellers had for the fact that he went down that escalator and totally disrupted politics as usual in our country.
Rush said in his talks with President Trump that the president was not shocked at the Dems reaction. President Trump was shocked at the Republican’s total lack of support (with some exceptions) for his winning the presidency.
He expected when he won the primaries and especially after he won the presidency that the Republicans would be 4 square with him.
He was totally unfamiliar with the term RINO. He is very very familiar with those bastards now.
This is the #1 reason why I’m not supporting Trump in the primary. His record for hiring the worst crypto-swamp creatures who ended up stabbing him in the back is simply appalling.
I pick good people then I alienate them with my unpredictable often illegal behavior, they turn against me and then I turn the dogs on them.
Trump admits he did not know DC.
I believe he made an effort early on to go along and get along, which probably
explains a lot of his hires. He soon realized how many snakes there are in DC.
If he gets another term, don’t think he will make those mistakes again.
But there are a lot of RINO’s in the Senate led by the Turdle.
They will probably limit Trumps ability to hire who he wants as AG and FBI.
Wray
Barr
Bolton
Milley
What do they all have in common? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Okay, I’ll tell you: Ivy League establishment...
Wray (Yale/Yale Law)
Barr (Columbia)
Bolton (Yale/Yale Law)
Milley (Princeton/Columbia)
Trump’s great weakness is that, at heart, he’s an outer-borough guy. He’s the Fordham boy who transferred to Penn. In the world in which he came of age, the Harvard/Yale/Princeton/Columbia people are the superstars. They exist on a plane that’s barely visible to the Queens middle class.
After everything that’s happened, one would hope that Trump has been cured of his admiration of and deference to the Ivy League establishment. If there’s to be 2nd Trump term, he must reject that Ivy crowd in favor of, yes, regular middle-class conservative Americans from the public colleges, the Fordhams, the BYUs, the TCUs, etc.
Wow. He admitted approves of his 100% RINO hires.
