A smoke shop clerk who watched in horror as his friend got stabbed during a robbery last week said it was the third time the same crew ransacked the Manhattan store — with the latest assault particularly unsettling.
“They were brazen,” the clerk told The Post Sunday. “He came in and I said, ‘You’re on camera!’ but he didn’t give a f–k. He just told me he was going to stab me.”
Three unidentified assailants robbed the display cases inside the Flower World Dispensary at 65 Nassau Street around 7 p.m. Thursday, according to police.
An employee tried to stop them, and the thieves took off.
But one of the robbers had dropped a backpack, and when the trio returned, they stabbed the 24-year-old victim in the right shoulder.
The callous crooks grabbed the backpack, stole more merchandise and fled, police said. *** The clerk said he’s still shocked at the shameless thieves, who didn’t even try to break into the cash register.
“They didn’t give a f–k about the money,” the clerk said. “All three times, they weren’t interested in the money. They only wanted the product.”
The stabbing is the latest in a string of attacks, robberies and killings inside the city’s 1,500 illicit smoke shops that officials are desperate to rein in. ***

“swarthy thugs”
After the first time I would have been ready for the second.
Hellos fellas, let me introduce you to your retirement plan.
So What, these young fatherless minority yutes finally get jobs doing what they love and everyone wants to put them out of work. Get Over it, this is their Chosen Profession.
In NYC? You’d never get out of jail.
Yes. The largest third-world city in the third-world Mitthole of the banana republic of america.
You're going to have to update your signature meme to replace the cop with a Soros prosecutor.
2% of the population (from a specific demographic) commits 60% of ALL murders. THAT IS A FACT!
When you see black men under the age of forty, stay far away from them or keep your hands close to the holster.
Always remember, they are hungry vicious cannibals looking for food (which means you are the next meal).
Yep, its best just to not be there in the first place. Flee, run, get out while you still can. It's only going to get worse. This is just the start.
It's the same reason we don't book X-Max holidays in Afghanistan.
If you stay don't complain, you had plenty of warning.
Definitely not what detractors of James Bond called his “ladies purse gun” in early Ian Fleming novels.
Can’t get much clearer pictures of them. Seems like a serious lack of effort to lock them up.
Photo array.
“They still basically good boys.”—Mom
New Yorkers must be the dumbest, slowest learners known to mankind. Just shut up, take your beating and don’t dare resist. I knew they were finished when they elected that stool sample Bloomberg and let the prick run all over them with smoking bans, soda restrictions, salt restrictions and god knows what else.
The First Law of Gunfights - Have a gun.
Bonds first gun, the 1947 25 cal Beretta is really compact and safe for pocket carry. It’s easy to carry when others may not be
Not the greatest at stopping power, but in a previous life I worked in a busy emergency room and saw more people killed with a 25 cal than any other round.
And yes, the Beretta 1947 does jam from time to time.
That’s actually a very safe part of town. The fact that they’ve robbed this 3 times is concerning. That’s write in the Financial District right near Fulton Cemter Transit Hub. Brazen.
Thankfully NY has strict gun control laws so no one gets hurt by criminals, in say, a ribbery. Oh.....
This is what happens when you don’t deal with crime.
Did his Walther ppk have the same concealment pris and cons for this sort of protection?
notice how liberals NEVER call for knife control in situations like this.
