The bigger the government, the bigger the need for a huge, aggressive tax-collecting arm. Therefore, the Uniparty in Congress acceded to the Democrats’ demand for a larger IRS budget to allow the IRS to hire more agents—87,000 more agents. Today’s news brought a couple of stories about what IRS agents are doing.
First, they’re using their access to businesses’ documents to collect information that the government is not supposed to have—specifically, information about gun owners:
I met with Tom Vanhoose this morning after 20 armed IRS agents raided his store in Great Falls earlier this week.
Tom informed me that these agents confiscated all the 4473 forms, none of which contain any financial information; instead, the IRS now has access to these forms…

In other words, under cover of collecting information from a business that’s allegedly been remiss in filing its taxes, the IRS is going after protected information about individuals exercising their Second Amendment rights.
Also, in case you’re wondering, the IRS has military-grade power at its back:
A new report shows the Internal Revenue Service has been stocking up on weapons, ammunition and combat gear to the tune of $10 million since 2020.
The findings released last week by OpenTheBooks, a watchdog group that tracks government spending, reveal that in 2021 alone the IRS spent more than $5 million shoring up its arsenal for its increasingly militarized agents.
Since 2020, the oversight group found, the IRS has spent $2.3 million on ammunition, $1.2 million on ballistic shields, $474,000 on Smith & Wesson rifles, $463,000 on Beretta 1301 tactical shotguns and $243,000 on body armor vests.

Silly me! I thought we fought a revolution to rein in the government’s ability to use its tax-collecting power in a punitive, overbearing, and even illegal manner against its citizens.
With Democrats, we’re seeing the future: Their government and their allies amongst the citizens are above the law; everybody else is below the law.
How long will We the People allow this abusive agency to exist?
Here is yet another reason to support the FAIRtax!
We will never be a truly FRee people so long as we have a Marxist inspired “progressive” income tax and and an IRS!
Go to https://www.fairtax.org to find out how to help us replace the Marxist inspired “progressive” income tax with the FAIRtax and abolish the IRS!
We have Republicans to thank for this. /Captain Obvious
I hope that I’m wrong, but these moves seem to be made to provoke a response.
None of these letters matter because the GOP voted to fund this jackboot thuggery. Nothing else matters.
Its called population control.....Nazi’s used it to gain control of Germany.
Speak out against the democrats.
Their new army comes after you.
Will Jack Smith and Lois Lerner be the heads of this new army
The IRS is the internal military Nobama spoke of. It must be defunded and dissolved ASAP. They will only get more embolden and more lawless. Such is the way of tyranny.
The American people are funding this through the unelected regime and coup of 2020
Mvpccarthy funded it, just like he always has… lucky for the world that trump didn’t endorse any of the speaker candidates who wouldn’t.
Trump n McCarthy.. winning.
I have always assumed that 4473 info was not safe from the POS atf.
Obama did not get this: We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set.
We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.
But, just like democrats, they write it into existence hidden in the bowels of legislation that is never read, never understood except for those mapping out the destination. This insidiousness of the progressive left is where Republicans and Conservatives often fail to grasp. Even when they appear to fail, they continue to put their people in place and make ready for what they have determined the eventuality. The incremental steps of progressives moves ever forward towards their goals. Oh how I wish Republicans could be so assured in their efforts.
We are the party of straight talking truth and meanings. We have no need to wrap up our agenda in pretty trappings of an expensive candy wrapper. Like an old cast iron skillet that is the best pan in the house, we need start serving up the best meals for the public to consume. We need to serve up that gourmet 10 course meal.
Obama is getting his “civilian force.” Not as the Americorp, but in the form of IRS agents and the ATF. Gentlemen and Gentleladies we are supposed to have 3 equal branches of government, unless the Speaker starts wielding his full powers and fellow Republicans start toeing the line, we are doomed. As despised as Nancy Pelosi is/was, she knew how to use her power to move their unconstitutional agenda forward.
In the coming elections I will be looking for those who know how to use their power given them by We the People. Those are the people I will vote for. And I pray that the mighty Lord shines His light upon their efforts and stands beside them.
I blocked the IRS from looking at patient records or appointment schedules in an audit of a mental health facility.
I started by saying to the agent, “What if you are an abusive husband and your wife’s name and file is in the records?
They backed off.
I would think that HIPAA would apply to credit card and banking information if patient’s names were disclosed.
You know how the opposition has used this against Desantis? Worst nightmare is they modify the FairTax into a VAT Tax. You know they want to!
“They” are our enemy!
FIGHT BACK!
We need a database containing the identities and locations of those 87,000 armed agents. So we can congratulate them on their new jobs.
The dims have spent money that they don’t have and now must get the money from us. Plus the 10% for the big guy.
Line 1...total income
Line 2...limited deductions Subtract Line 2 from Line 3 and send 13% of the remainder to the federal tax office.
