Fox News reports that twenty Republicans in the House of Representatives sided with most Democrats in voting against a resolution that would have censured Rep. Adam Schiff, (D-Calif.), for repeatedly peddling the hoax that former President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election.
The reprehensible Schiff was one of the foremost proponents of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. He repeated the falsehood in every forum possible. With every appearance, the lies became more ridiculous. He even claimed that Trump was an asset to the Kremlin. This wasn't a mistake on Schiff's part. Schiff knew these were fabrications but he said it anyway. His actions were purposeful and malicious. The Democrats had assigned him the task of running their biggest disinformation campaign and he did it without caring about the effects it would have on the nation.
Such was his desperation that Schiff fell prey to a prank by Russian radio hosts who told him that they were in possession of compromising images of President Trump.
The Trump-Russia collusion hoax caused instability in D.C. and indeed all over the U.S. It retarded the speed of Trump implementing the MAGA agenda. It probably cost the GOP the House during the mid-terms of 2018. Once the Democrats had control of the House it was a barrage of hoaxes.
But beyond all that, it was an attempt to undo the public mandate. It was part of a coup to unseat President Trump after he was elected by the citizens of America.
For a foul and vile fiend such as Adam Schiff, a censure is a light punishment. In fact, considering the damage he did, even banning him from politics is not sufficient punishment.
Any Republican should have voted to censure Schiff without even thinking.
But alas, the swamp runs deep.

It is essential to note the names of the 20 Republicans who voted against censuring Schiff.
I read Tom McClintock’s statement yesterday - where he twisted himself into knots to explain why he helped to save Schiff. I am from the same area that McClintock is from and have supported him and his political career.
I live in Adam Schiff’s area and it infuriates me the amount of support he gets - wins elections by ≈ 70-30. I don’t know of a single person around here who has anything but utter contempt for him - yet he continues to win by huge margins. I’ve always suspected vote fraud and vote harvesting have kept him in office.
I lost all respect for Mr. McClintock, permanently, on the spot.
Yet, if they censure Schiff, then they surely would censure MTG, Jordan, and others once the regained power in the House.
Yet, if they censure Schiff, then they surely would censure MTG, Jordan, and others once the regained power in the House. They need to bring specific charges against him and let the ‘courts’ decide.
Primary them
Folks, the sooner we realize we need to get these rino’s out by any means possible, even letting a democrat win, so we can put our guys in, the sooner we can maybe start fixing schiff…
Easier to run against an incumbent D then and incumbent rino.
Censure but without the fine would pass.
Was this the second attempt to censure Schiff? Or the first?
There’s a new censure bill those 20 support.

I can only imagine how sleazy the deals that get made are when these folks need votes from the other side to save a fellow swamp member.
It’s the duty of every person in those states to vote them out of office for the sake of liberty and MAGA.
I think that's the current plan. None of these 20 backbenchers are rich or prominent and they fear this being applied to them. They could not afforded the fine.
The guy who sticks his knife 49% of the way into your back is not 51% your friend.
Primary them all. Even the couple that voted present and the few that didn’t
even show up to vote. While the RATs play hardball our side plays nice.
Enough of that mentality.
The left plays hardball and the GOP plays whiffle ball.
It’s the sort of GOP back-stabbing that prompted me to switch from GOP to Independent after Congress accepted the obviously fraudulent Electoral College votes that put Brandon in office.
While I will vote for Trump in 2024, I didn’t vote in the Congressional election of 2022 and will not do so again in 2024.
We live in a Potemkin republic which I will not condone as the GOP accepts our slide into a police state.
