The more President Trump is targeted by the DOJ and the Biden administration, the more powerfully the American people continue to rally around the 45th president, according to the most recent GOP primary polls.

In new data revealed in a 2024 GOP Primary poll from CBS, Trump is firmly in command of the Republican race for the White House, holding a hefty 61 percent lead compared to runner-up Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., who snagged 23 percent of support.

In their poll, Trump has gained 3 points since May.

Last week, the president announced that he was scheduled to appear at the Miami Federal Courthouse on Tuesday, June 13, in the ongoing federal probe related to so-called “classified” documents that the FBI took from his personal home during last year’s unprecedented raid.

IOWA 2024: Trump holds 23-point lead for Republican Nomination

Trump — 44% (+23)
DeSantis — 21%
T. Scott — 6%
Pence — 5%
Haley — 5%
Christie — 3%
Ramaswamy — 2%

2-Way:
Trump — 49% (+17)
DeSantis — 32%@VictoryPolling | 06/03-06 | 450 LVhttps://t.co/An57S5zteN pic.twitter.com/TPIS1kiLnR— InteractivePolls (@IAPolls2022) June 9, 2023

The DOJ’s continued pursuit of Trump has not deterred MAGA supporters from backing the president. For example, another poll from TIPP demonstrated Trump’s whopping 36-point lead over DeSantis in the race for the GOP primary nomination.

In the important early-caucus state of Iowa, Trump also holds a 23-point lead for the nomination, according to Victory Insights. In North Carolina (where Trump campaigned over the past weekend), he is dominating with 44 percent of primary voters’ support against DeSantis’s 22 percent, via Opinion Diagnostics.

FiveThirtyEight’s polling averages also found that Trump additionally leads nationwide by 32.5 points against DeSantis’s 21.3 percent of support. He also leads a recent Race to the White House poll with 53.2 percent of support compared to DeSantis’s 21.8 percent of support.

The president is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday, June 13, at the Miami Federal Courthouse at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Trump wrote on Monday on Truth Social, “I HOPE THE ENTIRE COUNTRY IS WATCHING WHAT THE RADICAL LEFT LUNATICS ARE DOING TO AMERICA, AND ALL WE STAND FOR. WE ARE A NATION IN SERIOUS DECLINE, AND IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE.”

This is the Republican Primary.

How is Trump polling against Dementia Joe? Round-heels Harris? RFKJr?

Not sure that would be doable by he media.

For the primary they probably do poll Republicans only, for the general mostly Democrats. Hence the polling is probably not accurate.

Almost all polls have him leading Biden, from 2% to 11%, depending on the poll.

Try again!

Try again? I was asking for information, perhaps with a link or two to the polls or a story about the polls. I wasn't trying for a 'gotcha' against Trump.

I have not seen one Trump-Biden poll that was conducted post indictment. I've only seen Republican Primary post-indictment polls.

DeSantis needs to drop out.

It’s not enough to condemn Traitor Jack and Merrick Yagoda.

What they just did is enough to start a civil war in most intelligent Republics.

There can be no turning back now. The opposing “administration” is trying to imprison its opposition on phony charges, both to eliminate him and to hide their own misdeeds.

They have used State Terror to unjustly imprison and silence the J6 protestors as a warning to anyone who opposes their rampant rape of the Constitution. Then demonizing “MAGA Republicans” with the ridiculous speeches by the croaking angry old man.

No more. Being ruled by a cosmically corrupt cabal of third rate grifters and foreigners is over with.

And DeSantis is just a small toy to them. Has the right impulses, shows promise for the future, but will get stomped now. The Cheat Machine will simply drown him in the crooked states.

He needs to bow out and throw his support to the man who put him where he is in the first place. And call for charges against the entire Biden criminal enterprise.

I have not seen one Trump-Biden poll that was conducted post indictment.

Whatever it is... it will be greater than it once was before.

I hope you're right. The latest polls I can find is the aggregation by Real Clear Politics, which averages several polls and shows Trump over Biden by +1.8 points. But those polls all end at 5/31.

The cheat machine seems to be putting up wins against Donald right and left. They got him out of office and now have him fighting to keep himself out of prison for the rest of his life due to his hubris and tactical stupidity. He knew the regime was gunning for him but decided to fight them over meaningless stupid fn documents, and here we are.

“Oh but they double standard, the hypocrisy!” Yeah? So what? They control the DOJ and don’t give a crap. It’s a badge of honor to them. He should have done what he vowed to do and get Crooked Hillary thrown in the hammer, and maybe then he would have had the good sense to protect himself from them going after him for the same reasons.

Quick look at the calendar and he’s on track to get thrown behind bars right in the middle of campaign season and there’s nothing that anyone can do about it. Maybe he’ll already be the nominee by then and people here will be counting on a sympathy vote from your average voter. Lots of luck with that.

Trump should think of other people for the first time of his life, drop out and deal with the situation he put himself in. Running headlong into an enemy machine gun nest does not make him a victim, just stupid, and the rest of us are under no obligation to deal with his self-inflicted apparently mortal wounds.

Too late for that. He took his 30 pieces of silver.

You realize they would have indicted him on something else anyway right? Trump could be as saintly as Mother Theresa and they still would have indicted him.

“Trump should think of other people for the first time of his life, drop out...”

Hahaha, that’s never going to happen. Trump is smart enough to know in a situation like this, the only way out is to keep pushing forward. It’s do or die time, not just for Trump, but for the Republic. If he wins, the indictment is meaningless. If he loses, well, he won’t be the only political prisoner that the left locks up. He’ll be in good company soon enough.

If he immediately turned over the docs he would be in the exact situation Biden and Pence are in instead of handing the DOJ an obstruction charge that they are conveniently using to draw the line between him and them. Instead, we’re left to watch Trump deliberately step in a bucket of feces and claim he’s the victim. Maybe the bucket of feces shouldn’t have been there, but it was there as plain as day and his stupid ass stepped in it.

I know Trump will never quit the race. He will campaign from jail Jim Traficant style before he ever does and predictably lose. He’ll get to live out his days behind bars instead of getting behind an unincarcerated candidate who might actually win and pardon him out of prison immediately. That would be the most Trump-like ending to the Trump era ever. Pride before the fall might as well be the epitaph on his headstone.
