“He knew the regime was gunning for him but decided to fight them over meaningless stupid fn documents, and here we are.”

You realize they would have indicted him on something else anyway right? Trump could be as saintly as Mother Theresa and they still would have indicted him.

“Trump should think of other people for the first time of his life, drop out...”

Hahaha, that’s never going to happen. Trump is smart enough to know in a situation like this, the only way out is to keep pushing forward. It’s do or die time, not just for Trump, but for the Republic. If he wins, the indictment is meaningless. If he loses, well, he won’t be the only political prisoner that the left locks up. He’ll be in good company soon enough.

If he immediately turned over the docs he would be in the exact situation Biden and Pence are in instead of handing the DOJ an obstruction charge that they are conveniently using to draw the line between him and them. Instead, we’re left to watch Trump deliberately step in a bucket of feces and claim he’s the victim. Maybe the bucket of feces shouldn’t have been there, but it was there as plain as day and his stupid ass stepped in it.

I know Trump will never quit the race. He will campaign from jail Jim Traficant style before he ever does and predictably lose. He’ll get to live out his days behind bars instead of getting behind an unincarcerated candidate who might actually win and pardon him out of prison immediately. That would be the most Trump-like ending to the Trump era ever. Pride before the fall might as well be the epitaph on his headstone.
