Well he could theoretically be sworn in in jail and pardon himself, but that’s only for federal crimes. If Georgia or New York throw him in jail, he can’t pardon himself. It might take a court order from the supreme court. It’s a definite possibility that he wouldn’t actually become president if he was elected

Odds are greater that he will be incarcerated than he won’t be. All of your defenses of Trump are valid but sadly irrelevant. What, you think their unprecedented step of indicting a former president that they hate more than anything is enough for them? Many things are happening that are for the purpose of getting the public to understand that our entire government is totally corrupted. The Congress, the courts and the justice department. None of them can save the USA from this radical cabal that has taken over. And they won’t. Its not going to happen.

No, the law is clear that a sitting president cannot be indicted. It remains to be seen if an already incarcerated president-elect can serve.
I don’t have any faith in Trump nor the military. Most of this is beyond Trump’s control, but he also makes a lot of reckless decisions with personnel and now with his own personal liability decisions.
We all know that there is a double standard for criminal prosecution. If he had a D trailing his name, none of this would have happened. He knows this and should have take measures to protect himself from any legal liability, but he didn’t.
He didn’t clean up the FBI. He was hamstrung by the Russia collusion hoax, which was accelerated by his unfortunate pick of Sessions as AG, and then he struck out again with Barr and Wray. Then, he didn’t immediately turn over all of his docs when the national archives and FBI came calling. If he had done that, they wouldn’t have had any basis for obstruction charges and he would be on at least equal footing with Biden’s criminal liability. This is the legal basis that they will use to excuse Biden but justify their actions against Trump.
I don’t know how you can think that everything is so rotted out and that Trump will overcome it all. They got him out of office, didn’t they? The good guys in history don’t always win.

President Trump cannot be locked in a cell upon an indictment without triggering an immediate petition to a United States District Court for a writ of habeas corpus. An indictment is NOT a conviction and is a LOOONG WAY from a conviction.
A former President has the guarantee of Secret Service protection under federal law. A New York DA cannot overturn Secret Service protection guaranteed President Trump under federal law.
