France is calling him “the backpack hero”, a young Catholic pilgrim on a walking tour of cathedrals who came face to face with the man who stabbed several children in a park in Annecy.
Henri, a 24-year-old management and philosophy student, was near the playground in Le Paquier Park when he saw the man attacking children in a stroller as their mother desperately tried to shield them on Thursday.
Video footage shows him trying to block the assailant with one of his two backpacks, pursuing the man into the playground, and throwing one of his bags at the attacker.
So far, most of France only knows him by his first name. That is all there is on his social media accounts and police have not gone into more detail.

Many Frenchmen still have the will to fight and defend the innocent.

Manhood is alive and well in France that day.
Henri is a hero, but he could have been a bit more aggressive.
He comes within a few inches of being slashed by the Syrian attacker. With his only weapon his backpacks and his wits, he did ok.
What a difference even a walking stick would have made!
France has comitted cultural suicide. Watching just how the actual decline and destruction happens is not a pleasant sight. Either Biden and his perverted cabal are thrown out or this will be commonly happening in America and will not even be newsworthy. Actually it is already happening in America.

In our neighborhood the attacker would have been shot.
France once knew how to handle problems like this—Off with their heads.
In Germany, the backpacker would have been called a neo-nazi and arrested. One must not interfere in the affairs of muslim rapefugees.

And if you intervene a bit too strenuously to save many lives, you get charged with murder.
A report this morning said the Syrian had already sought and received asylum in Sweden, where he has a wife and at least one small child. Now he’s seeking asylum in France. As another poster pointed out, France has been committing slow-motion cultural suicide for several decades. Perhaps it’s only natural that the next step in the process is to look on as their women and children are raped and stabbed to death. (Did you notice that “Henri” is a Catholic doing a walking tour of French cathedrals? He probably wants to get a last look before they’re converted into mosques.)

There’s a photo floating around internet of group of women fleeing..with a couple of armed cops leading the way.
